first of all he wasn't arrested he was detained BIG difference second of all, he is a minor cops don't arrest minors unless an adult is present cause children may blurt out something that would then get scratched in a case he was simply detained with handcuffs which is a safety precaution. I wonder how the officer feels now..Now that he knows almost 4 million people have seen his crime, now that he knows that the video has spread across the world, and now that he knows he can't find a job because of his criminal record now. All because he doesn't like kids who smile. Never heard of such a thing. Kids need to grow up happy and healthy, and skateboarding is something that can do that for a child. Hope this guy knows that. @northeastskating What crime did the officer commit? I'll tell you want crime the kids committed - trespassing. He told these kids to get off the property immediately, but they wanted to argue and talk back. I hope that cop took that kid straight home and his dad gave him a good ass whooping for disrespecting other people's property. Once you have a job and pay for your own property you will understand.

Normally i side with the skaters, but not this time. The guy came out to bitch and you should have just left. But no, the POS(who eventually got cuffed) decided to skate into the board while the man was holding it. He got a warning shove to back off. Then the Sheriff obviously saw attitude from the same disrespectful punk and decided to give him an adjustment. And I'm sure the statement about the adults getting in trouble are total BS. Being a smart ass is fun, but learn to turn it off.
