is there a way you can make/recieve calls when your not in a wifi area? LIke in your car, or something? bascially is there a way you cna use it as your standard cell phone? if so how much is it?
Sadly, this does NOT do all this on an ipad. I was expecting to be able to look over other apps while having line2 in the background. I cannot. If I leave the line2 app, calls are "offline". This is a ipad only problem I am told, which means ipad has a limited support, not full support.
This app is awesome on iphone, giving you a slew of new options for a second line and I love it.I am disappointed in the statement of ipad support, only to find it lacking basic functionality.
Do you have to pay for service?

@mrstammyscott if you use the cell direct then it will use your minutes but no charges from Line2.

@aveoreen have you upgraded to iOS 4.2.1 on your iPad? Line2 will run in the background on your iPad with Apple's latest OS.
