Either you've played the SNES version, which is a completely different game - or it's because i'm playing on the hardest difficulty, which changes the boss AI.

Seriously, ACE. Start. Saving. Your. Flickery. Videos. At. 20. Frames. Per.  Second. For me? D: Aside from Explose Hornneck (whose wings have exactly three frames of animation at 60 FPS, go figure), it worked wonders for my Rockman X3 boss run!

Let's see here. A "gamer" is one who plays games more than just causally, and "gaming" is the act of playing a game. Yes, they describe two totally different things, assuming you can use correct logic.

Casual gamers are part of the gaming community, from a certain point of view. That being they play games at the most minimum level, every once in a while. They are not "gamers", they are "someone who plays games casually".

Sparkster on Very Hard is NOT for the casual gamer. Ka'pish?

First up, if "gaming" is "the act of playing a game", then "gamer" as derived from "gaming" simply means "one who plays games".

Second, this is a hobby, a means of entertainment and escapism. Not a damn religion.

Hm, either someone has an online dictionary up, or they're not using their head. There are 3 types of gamers, "Casual", "Professional" and "Gamer". Casual gamers play them only once in a while, for shits and giggles. Professionals play games as their job, competing in competitions and gaining sponsors. Gamers play games more then casually, but do not compete.

No one said it was a religion. If you want to play Sparkster yourself, play it on Easy and don't touch Very Hard.

The point of a playthrough, 'specially the Let's Play kind, is to hear the player and hear what they think from start to finish. Well, that's my interpretation.

The point of a video game being hard as hell is that when you beat it, the amount of satisfication you get is enourmous. If you beat a really easy game, it's really nothing to be proud of because of the lack of challenge.

That's precisely why i'm playing this game on the highest difficulty level. The fact I don't (er.. ok, once, but that doesn't count) abuse emulator functions constantly like alot of Let's Players do, means this is a playthrough of skill.. some luck.. but mostly persistance.

Yeah it's all about bragging rights. XP

Bragging rights is where its at. Nothing like showing off to your friends beating such a hard game. That's exactly what I did after beating Gradius ReBirth...on Normal XD
