on same tire model as this. I know there are guys faster than that also.

@veilbla1 There has been no 58.828 done in the roadster with the NTM on the stock setup.

Not sure it is reachable. Did a 58.707 with the cup with a custom setup, but with the stock setup it is not doable. Ryan F. has not been on iRacing since January 2011. He did his best laptime in January 2011 while the NTM arrived in the Mx5 in September 2011. Say hi to Eric for me :) ... Glad to have a great racer like him on iRacing, always a pleasure to exchange with him :)

@veilbla1 Oh sorry, mistook the video you commented on :)

This was done with the cup, on the OTM (Old tire model).

That was the WR with the Cup for some time, but I beat it after with a 58.96x or so. Ryan did his 58.828 with the roadster which is faster. I think my PB is around 58.63 with the roadster :)

Nice thanks for posting. Just joined Iracing and loving it. I'll go run about 25-ish laps of my own to get comfortable with the track, then I'll search for vids like these to help me polish things up.

@select20 This lap was done with the old tire model. The driving has changed drastically now therefore this lap is not really valid anymore. Even trajectories on the left hander had to be changed. Check out for tutorials with the New Tire Model (NTM), I did one for the roadster on LRP and one for the Cup has been done also.

Non et jai fait un 58.966 sans aspi depuis (le replay est poster plusieurs fois sur le forum)

LA cest juste mes premiers tours avec la Cup.

Le 58.6 en roadster est aussi poster plusieurs fois sur le forum, et pareil, sans aspi. Sinon oui, j ai surement eu un offtrack a la sortie du virage 5. J'en ai regulierment ici :)

Hello! Nice driving!

I was just wondering... Are the used setups of the world records in iRacing lists open or fixed? Especially MX-5s on Lime Rock, and MX-5-s and SCCA Spec Racer Fords at Okayama short config. I couldn't find info about that, someone could clear this up for me. :)

@fenrirthecount In MX5 rookie serie, these are fixed setups yes. SRF and Solstice can have their setups modified.

Actual WR is 58.90s with a setup (done druing week 13). My best time is 58.966s on stock setup and with no draft. Reaply has been posted in iRacing's forum
