The fact that true, organic sounding songs such as this one (and many others) struggle to even get 5 000 views, while songs like "Friday" and "E.T." have exponential view counts, shows me that people aren't truly "LISTENING" to the music. They are sitting there, the mindless drones; absorbing all the bullshit and egotistical nonsense that Lady Gaga discharges out of her ever-expanding clitoris. Keep watching their videos, clicking their ads, "liking" them on Facebook; keep fueling their empires.
@CatfishD that's why I made a playlist with everything that I remember from the "underground" of the 90s. This will go right in there along with Slider or My Kingdom.
I got sick of people "discovering" what a cool song "CJ Bolland - It ain't gonna be" is, or wow, hey, "Feeling so real" doesn't really sound like Moby!
The underground rarely even tries to make itself heard. They just go about minding their own business and NOT splattering everywhere with their music preferences. Big difference :)
@S0ryiu I fully encourage that. We're here for our own spiritual cultivation, not for a career or other such material obsessions. Experimenting with music, or some other form of art, not longing for an audience, is a pretty good idea. They say art is a dialogue, that you have to have someone go yay or boo, but I disagree :) The yay-boo thing only helps to perfect and feed and eventually over-inflate one's self-esteem, or, like the English speakers call it, ego.
I can just imagine myself cruising on one of those swamp boats in a remote swamp with a beer in one hand and the sun dipping away. Love this tune thanks!
@kefir0076 - shouldn't the music be enough? I've never understood the impulse to combine aesthetics with narcotics - I would think it would detract from the experience...but, then, I've never even had alcohol, let alone drugs.
@captainfrat - Not necessarily. When people ask me why i don't drink or do drugs, my first reply is: 'I was not aware it was REQUIRED', and my second reply is that I have no idea why - I've never felt the desire to drink, do drugs, have coffee, etc. I've also never had the desire to breed, but luckily I'm not the sort of guy who will ever be in that predicament. :)
@Timmybear it's not required, however I can tell you that certain drugs can help you gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of life and the universe, as well as music. I said that previous comment because to an one who has never used drugs, it appears pointless, as you may currently feel like you understand and appreciate things, such as this song, just fine without any alterations.
@Timmybear But if you do a drug you may realize that there is a deeper capacity for love, happiness and appreciation that you may have never known was there without the aid of the drug. Once you feel that deeper level you can apply that same depth of appreciation and understanding to your sober life. The bottom line is that until you use a drug you can't possibly know what it's like or why people would want to do them, you must do it for yourself, and I would suggest psychedelics.

@thpfr the underground usually are happy making just enough money to live off. (I know this since that too is my own goal.)

@Timmybear "but, then, I've never even had alcohol, let alone drugs."
I think you've just figured out why you've never understood the impulse.
