When I was like 6 years old I just fooled around Croft Manor cause I never got further than Venice in the actual game. I always tried to find all the secrets my brother told me the level had, including taking tea from Winston, finding some hidden pistols and killing him and getting through the gates at 0:29. He told me there was a land full of Winstons behind it and I believed it all. XD

I'm sure the real-world equivalent would not only be an exorbitantly expensive symbol of materialistic wastefulness but also be a bastard to clean. I loved just exploring this place when I played it as a child. Diving in the swimming pool was surprisingly fun. I HATED THAT FUCKING BUTLER THOUGH! Always he would show up out of nowhere when you least expected it, while you were admiring the scenery, and give you a heart attack! My friend told me about locking him in the freezer, and from that point on he never again saw the light of day!

All I did in this game was fool around in the manor and bother the butler until I got tired of him and his creepiness, and then I would proceed to lock him inside the freezer. The actual game was too hard and scary for little 6-7 year olds. :D

how to jump on the high hedges; You need to download flypatch. Set it out, press a certain button from hotkeys while playing the game and u'll see Lara SWIM in the air, that'll help get ANYWHERE you like.

unlocking the room - you have to complete the shuberry maze, next to the fountain, and as quickly as u can go back to the manor before time goes off.

u dont need to download anything, just go on the roof, and look down at the hedges then walk off the edge of the house, you will lose some health but if you dont jump, you wont die.

There are two ways to get to the balcony, the glitch and the hack. For the hack, you can download this thing call the flight patch that lets you "swim" in the air when you press a key assigned to it. If you don't feel like doing that, you can use the glitch. Find a YouTube video teaching you how to perform the TR2 corner bug. You know that spot in the obstacle course with the zipline? Use the corner bug on the left pillar to get on the roof, or the right pillar to get on the wall.
