actually in drifting u should still be able to gain speed while drifting so its not drifting u just speed up then u use handbrake and go thrue to corner and then speed up and so on. thats not drifting.

you speed up a little bit and let go of gas then tap the brake(LT button) then handbrake (RB or A button) turn let weight shift then counter steer. and if you want to see a vid about it type in how to drift in gta 4 and look for one with a corvette on it
