@KrazyBean14 yes, it does. it called refreshing ATB bar. thats what Square Enix are saying in FFXIII 2 guidebook. i dont think they knew that trick until FFXIII 2 because they didnt mention about it in FFXIII guidebook. i found it by pure luck. :P

@KrazyBean14 yeah..it becomes very handy when you dont have haste or got ambushed. this is how it works. switch 1 to 2 will give you full ATB in 2, then switch 2 to 1 again and 2 again, but you will get full ATB for 1 and 2 after 3rd switch. so, keep an eye on ATB after a few switches.

@Clannad12349 you mean, grand pulse which is the best place to grind CP. kill behemoth to start with and then a guy with a long sword in chapter 13 before the final boss. i had 999999 CP and all role levels are at MAX after a few hours.

tough luck. try it for a few more times. otherwise, turn off your console(unplug the power cable) for about 20/30 secs and then turn the console back on and try it again.

I currently have 5 Tetradic Tiara's and 4 Tetradic Crown's in my inventory and he keeps giving me more, so generous! -- I'm in Chapter 11 still, but I do have the Collector's Catalog equipped so that might be helping me. These are great for selling too --> 15,000 gil for Crown and 40,000 gil for Tiara, woo! And you gotta love the guaranteed 5 Bomb Shells for upgrading all your weapons and accessories!

I did this in Chapter 11 as well; my alternate strategy was to have the black guy (I'm sorry I forgot his name lol) cast haste and faith on everyone and have Vanille spam Deshell on the guy. The chance of getting Deshell up there should be pretty high once everyone has Faith and Haste on. Then I switch to three Commando mode and have Hope, Vanille, and that black guy all fire Ruin at him. Kills him in about 2-3 volleys.

yes, it is sometime a bit of annyoing. i got the first one after 6/7 tries. or maybe you are using sprint shoes against him and thats why it wont give it to you.

because i will get a full bar if i switch it over. it doesnt make a lot different when you have haste but will make a lot different when you dont have haste. normally, you will get a full bar when you switch it for the second time, and then you need to wait for the bar to full again when you switch it again. i hope you understand what i am saying. :)

To get the Sprint Shoes (you don't really need Hermes Sandals) you only need 1 Tetradic Tiara. Upgrade the Tiara to its highest level (You will see a star next to the name) with any components. Then Dismantle the Tiara to get the Sprint Shoes. Simple as that!

did you watch this clip to the end? you need to upgrade a tiara to star level and dismantle it to get the sprint shoes. but you gona need to wait certain item before you can make sprint shoes with the crown though.

i cant remember which item cuz you gona get 3 tiaras during the story line/mission. so, you dont need to worry about the sprit shoes. one from this guy(and more if you are really lucky), one from this chapter boss and cant remember about another one.

I think it is pure luck, i got a tiara very first try during the 'real' mission (only had a crown dropped from a diff boss in my inventory prior to this mission). I tried exactly 14 times (it's good for cp farming and gil), and was able to get another tiara and 2 crowns. I also do not have the Catalog. Gonna try a few more times to see how much luckier I am =). The bombs (5) are a guaranteed drop, so I sell the pack of 5 for 3K gil.

make sure, you equipped with the right catalog. there are three different catalogs but you should have 2 by chapter 11. see what catalog you are having. obviously, the one with the rare drop ability is the one that you need.

well, have you tried it? i tried it several times but didnt get anything. not only me, but there are a few gamers also tried to get more but it is impossible. you gona get 3 tiaras in chapter 11 anyway. one from chocobo diggings, one from this boss and another one from chapter 11 boss.

the guidebook doesnt say that you could get expensive weapons as a drop weapon from mission 46 to 51 bosses. i found out that i could get 4 weapons(at least). i have a guidebook too, you know.:)

@TheJRPGgamer I was able to get 7 crowns so far and 4 tiara's with collector's catalog equipped. I think there might not be a limit to how many can drop. In the beginning I was getting batches at a time with crowns followed by a tiara.

i got 3 crowns before i got terial, cant spell how, lol. so you need to fight him again and again until you got one. one guy said that he had to fight over 70 times to get it. so it bases on pure luck, i suppose.

i was lucky to get 3 crowns in 5 fights and got the terial on 7/8 fights. so i was a bit lucky. :)

it is hard to get one for someone like yourself but keep patient and you will get it at the end. you are like one of the guy cuz he didnt get one even after 50 fights.

what you can do is, save the game and turn off your console and leave it for a min then turn on the xbox and play it again. programme will reset it to your favour. XD

it depends.

i dont like to use sprint shoes against long fight cuz you can only have haste for a min or two. basically, you wasted one of your slot for nothing. keep that in mind.

armlets are good to have but my priority is to have an armlets that boost ATK and MAGIC.

as for ribbon, i hardly used them cuz it cant grantee to protect you. XD

genji gloves is the best one for me. :)

dont worry about gold nuggets. just do chocobo treasure hunting achievement. you will get one gold nugget, one platinum ingot and ribbon on 10, 15 and 20 digs respectively.

why dont you take your time and fight those bosses from titan trial. you will get the most expensive weapons as a drop item. so they are free. i got 4 of them. each one gona cost you just over 200K. you wont get those weapons before you unlocked gelgimash Inc. so it is worth trying. :)

you need to ride a chocobo to find treasure in grand pulse. only 5 digs can be made each time. so save the game after a few digs or all 5 digs and then save the game and then reload the game and try again. you will get the achievement after 20 digs.

i think you better farming CP instead of Gil. otherewise you will be spending too much time to find gold nuggets and then farming CP(you will get platinum ingot as a drop item if you are lucky when you are farming CP with adamantoise)

fight the guy not far from save sphere in the middle of grand pulse cuz he has less HP. about 300K. you will see other adamantoises in that aera as well if you dont know the exact location.

do you have over 12000 HP? use SEN SEN SEN and then MED MED MED.

summon and try with death. if doesnt work then reload the game and try again. you need to use item to refill your AP though. that item will cost you 30000 gil from the shop(second or third on the list). you should have a few in your inventroy at least.

4000 cp is good when your role level is low but adamantoise gives you 40000 or 80000 with double CP. :)
