No doubt, that Octopus is BAD ASS!!! Looks like you've provided him with a good home, he/she looks happy, lol. I've read they are very smart creatures.
@devastatorsgaming you go to your local pet store/saltwater suplier and request an octopus. they get it within 2-3 weeks and bam, you have an octopus. but take notes from this video. this guy is doing a great job. toys filtration and a well sized tank to itself. make sure everything's set up before hand
I put plastic mesh over the overflow box to prevent him from getting in there. I also had a glass lid that left about a 3" gap in the back, so I covered that with plastic mesh as well. There was no way he could escape. And yes, they are extremely difficult to keep alive. Hardest part being getting the to eat for the first time. It is best to buy captive bred. Not only to help the oceans, but captive bred tend to eat better and thrive better. Do your research. They are the hardest to care for.
What kind of octo is she and is this species common in the pet trade? What are their care requirements? Sorry for so many questions its just I'm looking forward to taking care of one these days.
that looks beast. its awesome cause its small

Owning an octopus is something you work up to. It's almost like a trophy, even experts kill theirs the first couple of tries.
Hunted2009 1 year ago
