Besides the fact that Falcon9 being much safer than Ares 1. Falcon9 is estimated to have a recurring cost of almost $45.8 Million per flight. Ares 1 is estimated to have a recurring cost of almost $1Billion per flight. Falcon 9 carries 7 people while Ares 1 only carries 5 people.
I like that a Google ad for discounts on space rockets popped up. Buy a Falcon 9 stage fairing! Only slightly damaged. Otherwise, thanks for the promo--I have hopes that the Falcon series is advancing the craft of rocketry while dropping the cost of payload lifting; I like the idea that it is combines the traditional rocket staging stack with current developments. I'm curious though, what fuel prices are going to do to the use of RP-1.
hey helloo, hope youall well, love your cool educational vids, thanks again space has an Xfactor, launching a rocket off a ball shaped planet into space is amazing, and to fly then to a destination..wow

what are the four towers for ?
lestube001 2 years ago
Lightning rods. Don't want big bolts of lightning to hit the rocket causing a huge explosion or damage to the electronics.
