i swapped the engine on my 95 honda ex to an Acura Integra 1.8 LS Engine but my check engine light came on does anybody know why that happend or what could be my issue please help!!

Keep hiding behind that word efficiency. You dont seem to realize that boosting stock compression on demand with a turbo is gonna take its toll on those rings and rod bearings, not to mention revving out your valvetrain to 12k.

If you set your Turbo installation up EFFICIENTLY, you wont need to worry about your rings and rod bearings fail prematurely!!
EXAMPLE: 1JZ 2.5..Factory internals & specs,( in good shape) will cope almost 2bar boost 590HP.. thats not out of a book or net. seeing it with my own eyes

@alvizar1989 a stock d16 is capable of holding 7-8 psi safely stock and is you really want to push it you can go to 10 but i advise that only is youu know you have a extremely good tune . Dont let anyone say the single cam sucks if you know what your doing its just as good as the DOHCs
@Skater3z3b the only problem with a single is you cannot stop valve overlap unless you change out the cam to one with those provisions. valve overlap stops your enging from containing the pressure from the turbocharger. basically you want to eliminate volumetric efficiency by eliminating valve overlap, get a dual. and this goes for all engines

@TheEdrooney with a new cam, i'm making power to 6800rpm guy. i made 405hp / 450 torque at the rear wheel. not the engine. that was 6psi with no intercooler, a crappy cam meant for n/a on a 112 LSA. Without the IC it had 180* intake temps. Its now intercooled, runs way cooler, has alot more timing, an LS6 cam for boost, revving to 6800. on the same 6psi. guess how much power i make now that it's setup correctly?
@TheEdrooney so you dont have the engine in your car yet... i see... so you're makin it up. Like i said, 405hp at 5k rpm was with the wrong cam in the car, and valve float. It's fixed now, and revs to 6800. makes ALOT more power with still only 8psi.
and you're going to need ALOT of suspention work to hit 8's. Lets see an uploaded video buddy... You do alot of bench racing
@95turbohonda Third gen camaro 3-link with full UMI upgrades is good all the way up to 8 sec 1/4's. Your truck is sweet and I'm glad that your makin more power. My original point was that you can get a sbc with 14psi in the 8's easy. I have seen naturally aspirated v6 s-10's run in the 8's.

Keep hiding behind that word efficiency. You dont seem to realize that boosting stock compression on demand with a turbo is gonna take its toll on those rings and rod bearings, not to mention revving out your valvetrain to 12k.

If you set your Turbo installation up EFFICIENTLY, you wont need to worry about your rings and rod bearings fail prematurely!!
EXAMPLE: 1JZ 2.5..Factory internals & specs,( in good shape) will cope almost 2bar boost 590HP.. thats not out of a book or net. seeing it with my own eyes

Stock LS1 makes 325hp naturally aspirated, now what about with twin turbos.

one question would the d16 swap be better then one of the b series engines for the price and if i do the t3/t4 turbocharger on boost would that be good? im trying to have the fastest car but would this make around 300-400 hp to the wheels if tuned properly? just asking im only 17 so don't criticize me

@alvizar1989 a stock d16 is capable of holding 7-8 psi safely stock and is you really want to push it you can go to 10 but i advise that only is youu know you have a extremely good tune . Dont let anyone say the single cam sucks if you know what your doing its just as good as the DOHCs

@Skater3z3b the only problem with a single is you cannot stop valve overlap unless you change out the cam to one with those provisions. valve overlap stops your enging from containing the pressure from the turbocharger. basically you want to eliminate volumetric efficiency by eliminating valve overlap, get a dual. and this goes for all engines

Its funny how you talk shit about how my car cant take any boost, but you cant push your shit past 5k rpm. Im pushin more horsepower than that with my N/A cast iron 357 with fully forged internals. That truck is sick, but sorry bro with my 100 shot you would lose.With a sbc 427 on 14psi I could get into the 8's. Got the 400 block on my engine stand.

@TheEdrooney with a new cam, i'm making power to 6800rpm guy. i made 405hp / 450 torque at the rear wheel. not the engine. that was 6psi with no intercooler, a crappy cam meant for n/a on a 112 LSA. Without the IC it had 180* intake temps. Its now intercooled, runs way cooler, has alot more timing, an LS6 cam for boost, revving to 6800. on the same 6psi. guess how much power i make now that it's setup correctly?

@TheEdrooney so you dont have the engine in your car yet... i see... so you're makin it up. Like i said, 405hp at 5k rpm was with the wrong cam in the car, and valve float. It's fixed now, and revs to 6800. makes ALOT more power with still only 8psi.
and you're going to need ALOT of suspention work to hit 8's. Lets see an uploaded video buddy... You do alot of bench racing

@95turbohonda Third gen camaro 3-link with full UMI upgrades is good all the way up to 8 sec 1/4's. Your truck is sweet and I'm glad that your makin more power. My original point was that you can get a sbc with 14psi in the 8's easy. I have seen naturally aspirated v6 s-10's run in the 8's.

You cry about installing turbo charger but did U realize that Turbochargers pressurize the incoming air to EFFECTIVELY cram more air into a cylinder..basically raising the compression on demand!! which is why they are added!!
Us guys would prefer an engine that will idle at smoothly @900, use fuck all fuel, wont over heat at traffic lights and keep up or blow away you guys.. EFFICIENCY!!!
