  • At least they got exposure in the U.S.

  • The most underated band in the history of Rock period!! They should've been as big as U2

  • 2012 we still are heading for towns and countries. crap management? they only want the best for Big Country. If you are managing a group for 30 years I think it's not fair to judge that hard. For me it only counts that the train is still riding. Big Country is still here in our heart and minds! X I can understand why your judgement is keeping them from touring in the US!

  • Shame Big Country had such crap managment. Should have been bigger.

  • @SpartanPict Yeah, it's hard to argue with that!

  • big country could have played everywhere in the US with thier own songs and if that had failed, people in the audience could have shouted out songs. big country would have played them note for note....perfection.

  • Awesome. I've never heard this live before! Superb. Buffalo skinners is awesome. Miss you Stuart

  • Thanks Jason....Bruce's guitar work here is really good....but it always is!

  • SICK!

  • One of their best periods...and best songs to be lifted from ' SKINNERS'..A real return to form from P I O T and N P L H ........This song should have followed ships straight to the top 10!

  • I love that there is a mic in front of Bruce, but he doesn't use it...

  • I cannot stand the programme, but I think this song could be covered by Glee (like the Journey song), only to give the band some deserved publicity.

  • I think this is my favorite Big Country tune. Simon Phillips knocks it out of the park on the Buffalo Skinners album. Thanks for the up.

  • Mark gets some nice prominence here in the mix and on the screen

  • I never knew about this either- saw them in a small NYC club, must have been the same week (?) ...anyone remember that club name? Too bad here they cut the post-chorus guitar solos off, really takes away from the majestic sound. They were impeccable at the club

  • @regaffairs I think it was The Grand. It was a club with three bars scattered around the floor. I was at that show as well. One of the best memories of my life. RIP Stuart.

  • Strange song to pick for the show - wasn't their best live song. Maybe they thought it sounded the most like the BC sound American audiences expected?

  • Fantastic.Best band ever!!! Rip Stuart.

  • Cracking version. Best live band I have ever seen. RIP Stuart.

  • Gee, I knew they ended up on Saturday Night Live back in the early 80s, but didn't know about this...this is definitely a rare clip...thanks for posting!

  • It's only a shame they had to be on Leno's crap show..would have been MUCH cooler if Carson was still at the wheel!!

  • Yes that´s right

  • The best band ever! :o)
