@poulsontheprick pop has autotuned vocals and synthesized music usually, where in this song is auto tuning or pop synthesizers? you want pop, listen to justin beiber and compare to this. this band can actually play instruments and do vocals. justin spends maybe 5 minutes on the beat for a song, then makes shitty lyrics, sings them and then fixes them in studio. this song took days or even weeks to make. know what your saying before you talk. and one last thing, pop and metal cant be fused :)

pop they make it so easy to corrupt. changing the lyrics slightly and u get an entirely different explanation to the song. metal they put it in such a way that u have to change the entire lyrics for it to make sense. metal is seen as the antecedent of the world because of their style. they seem dark and brooding when of all the genres are the most realistic. life is harsh as it is and they are expressing it as they experience it.

(And these band members are devout Christians, so their lyrics are influenced.) sex and drug culture? I don't think so. Metal isn't about sex and drugs; it's about expression, as any other art. pop they make it so easy to corrupt. changing the lyrics slightly and u get an entirely different explanation to the song. metal they put it in such a way that u have to change the entire lyrics for it to make sense. metal is seen as the antecedent of the world because of their style. they seem dark and brooding when of all the genres are the most realistic. life is harsh as it is and they are expressing it as they experience it.

God gives us the right to choose but with every choice comes a consequence. Good or bad it is your decision. Also, the bible says to praise God with a joyful NOISE. It didn't say a sweeeeet melody, but a joyful NOISE. It can be the worse music in the world, but if the person who sings/plays it is using that to priase God, I will gladly join.
