@hush065 Yes, but mostly everyone takes it out the last week or two because whey protein will bloat you a little bit. Taking it out a week or two in advance is all the time you need to make a difference though.

@hotdude23 pure stats dude, of course not found in the latest Flex mag, there are bbs who get old like normal ppl (tho with health issues) but not every 1 of them takes the same stuff, has the same genetics, stress load, luck, u name it... needless to say,the bbs of today cannot be objectively compared to those on top some 10-20 years ago..tougher competition, bigger pressure, more money, superheavy expectations etc. means heavier loads of roids n pushin the limits even further..take care
Now that I have looked at the videos and pics numerous times.....I now accept the fact that phil was beaten fairly.....as much as I admire his physique, i have to objectively admit that even though he has made significant improvement from the past O ....his harmstings, outer delts and lower lats still need to come up...if you all would notice his harms from the rear and side shots are the weakest in the top 4...especially since he is the tallest of them..at 5 9' , 237 aint gonna cut it for the O

@tat3001 thanks. having competed 48 times, and covered pro and amateur body building contests doing photography for years all over the world, i have a litte idea about what the judging is supposed to be. and judges get it wrong all the time, but not this time. i'd gladly keep in touch. as you said, objective opinions are rare, most people judge with their heart.
@saltfan2 because kai green had him on most poses. front and back lat spread, front and back double biceps, and side chest. phil won side triceps and abs and thighs. he will eventually win, but on this day kai was better. and phil is my favorite bodybuilder.

Anyway Phil was leading after prejudging, so the judges had it right to start w/. lol, Then changed there minds at the finals.

He had some of the most amazing definition ever that night (In my opinion he raped kai in the definition area), but his size just isn't here. He is much narrower and taller than kai, therefore, the overall effect he has is diminished by the sheer presence of larger bodybuilders. I feel his career will resemble Shawn Ray's and Flex Wheeler

Yep, he has sick striations on his quads (the many horizontal lines), just sick size AND last but not least, very big and long calves, which you almost never see on african american bodybuilders. He's got some good genetics.
What I hate about Kai's body though is his huge HGH gut/belly that's grown to extreme proportions the last couple of years. Really too bad.
and About Phil Heath...no comments, the new Flex Wheeler, great phisyque, arrogant and no brain, therefore he´s never going to win, specially with that ridiculos screaming
