Doc, at Dallas the thing that annoyed me the most about the commentators was that they would just ramble about stuff that doesn't even make sence or some ignorant/false comment. Obviously because of your knowledge on competitive and CoD I don't think you'll make those mistakes. Don't worry about stuttering btw. If it happens it happens

Doc, the worst part about the live stream was the repetition and constant re-caps that the two commentators kept resorting to when they had nothing else to say. Ive never seen you have this problem, but if you truly have nothing to say for 30s its better to be silent than just repeat something we already know.

For CLB: Knowledge of players and energy - I watched OpTic in the semis at Dallas and the commentators seemed lifeless almost. Energy like the SC2 guys (i.e. Husky) - they get pumped lol.

I think you need to have a fun and humorous attitude at Columbus. I found that the commentators at Dallas weren't really funny, they were kind of monotonous. You also should definitely put in some stuff other than the play by play like you said. Great MLB, NFL, and NBA commentators have been likable for the fans and they haven't been boring.

the most annoying thing was that the commentator hade no idea how a team could break out of a spawn trap or something like that, and what to do to help them win the game. They hade no idea what the power possitions on the map was etc.

Personal stuff would be awesome, glad you mentioned Nade, his story would be pretty cool for people to hear (his comeback to competive for a fallen teamate, and playing pretty damn well for a competitive return.) The things you need to do for the Columbus stream is simple. Know your, Call outs, Players, and all the stuff you know already really. Dallas had people that hardly knew anything about Black ops which was very sad

Trust us, you will do fine, you have alot of competitive experience, and you are a much greater commentator in general. You will go a great job doc. The only reason we gove the other comentators shit was becuase they didnt even know the basics of the game, let alone the competitive aspect of it. But you have all the qualifications to show everyone that MLG can have a good stream.

when you're commentating just be like Fwiz. be quick enough to stay on top of the gameplay and know all the players gamertags as well as showing knowledge for the game. if there's one thing i hate it's listening to someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.
