burton didn't make nine, he was just "presenting" it. Presenting usually means the said person contributed some amount of money to the making of the film and the producers thought the movie would sell better if they told everyone that in the previews. (misinformation, kinda) THIS however IS the original short film from the man who actually created nine. Yes the movie sucked but I got to say I enjoyed this short film for what it was, an independent project

Just seen the full length movie and I absolutely loved it... Don't want to spoil it by telling too much but there's constant tension and I liked the way the movie developed. I feel some people's complaint about this movie is that they felt a lack of story. But the story really is in the environment, the emotions shown on the faces of the characters and the the constant feeling a present threat.. Awesome!

Tim Burton produced it and that's it. basically, he got people excited for the movie. Shane Acker, the creator of this short, is the director, screenplay/story writer, and art director for the movie. in fact, i just got back from seeing the movie, and u'll be pleased to know that there are plenty of similar and recurring scenes/themes within this short that are included in the motion picture.
