3d holograms don't exist nor does any technology to even begin to create one. This and most other "holograms" are just projections onto screens, albeit thin screens, but don't start pretending there holograms. (the point of holograms being no screen)

Look m8s, this is the primordial stage of holograms. Things start out real basic like, even silly, and hopefully if it's useful it'll progress into what sci fi has told us things should look like.
