It's a nice approach. Just one little advice here: please keep in mind that the original choir is sang to fit into three quarter notes in a bar. It seems that you were trying to make this song 4/4 so the drumline goes off a quarter note every bar.

@dontwaitanimate The choir is fine.. the original song (which the choir is singing) is a time signature of 3/4 ... not 4/4. Meaning there is 3 beats in a bar and not 4. Counting 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, not 1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4.
