if you bounce it off your rev limiter for like a minute it might damage your engine, but revving your engine in neutral won't hurt it any more than doing the same rpm in gear. As long as you let your engine's oil heat up and move before revving. (start engine, let run, turn off, start video, start engine, let run, then rev) you won't hurt it. But the morons who hop into their cars in 40 degree weather and rev the nuts off their engine after it starts mightaswelldraintheoiland leaveabrickonthegas
