Thank you. I thought they were from Poland due to the fans saying some things about them. I don't have time to look up hundreds of bands. But I'll take your word for it. I used to know everything about every band at one time but when you get older and life gets in the way with all of it's challenges, you just can't spend so much time on music, listening to it, investigating it, etc. Thanks for the info. Finland makes sense since so many are from there.

i can totally understand! so few GOOD bands are from my state and when people say "oh, the Romantics (or RHCP) are from California" i get upset cause they are from my state--michigan, not california!! so i totally understand it. i guess you'll just have to keep reminding people. but....Finland has SOOOO much good stuff can't they loan one band to Poland? i've been into German music since the late 70's/early 80's and am into music of Deutschland.

If they want to have a good band, they can made it by them selves ;) And even if we have really good bands, it's just e few people who knows about them. I mean Nightwish is big, but bands like Negative, Poets of the fall, Sturm und drang are so good but so little know about them. :) Haha, and yes, I will keep reminding people. I have done that now, in like a week now... ;D

Actually it was a German radio station who keeps playing them and brought them to my attention. They are called Madhouse Radio and are from the Dusseldorf area. They play a lot of German music, as they should, but also anything GOOD and this is certainly good. It's good to have national pride via your music and enjoy sharing it. I did the same as a younger person. Loads of people are into music from Finland. If I was 21 again I would know all of the bands

I've been a SRA fan since 2007. Sunrise Avenue has actually been my (something-more-than-) favourite band and I still remember myself crying from happiness everytime I bought their CDs. Last summer I finally saw them live in Thessaloniki, the best day of my life. It's unbelievable how those guys have improved since 2007. Hope you come back in Greece, someday. :) LOVE YOU!<3
