hahaha! Thaks for the comment! I do play the whole song when playing in the street, but back in the days I recorded this I wouldn't like to play on Virg's solo. I take requests...but it's more for those who can't figure out something. Ground zero is great, but I don't know if I'll have time for that. I hope I will one day.

Yes, it's hard stuff! However I do play the hi-hat foot pattern, but it's low in txe mix, and besides the snare ghosts notes tend to cover those tiny sounds. However, on some bars, precission can be improved!;)

Yes...the coordination between right hand and foot ostinato was the hardest part for me, in the verse. The hair...hahaha, I believe it had been three years at that moment. Now it's longer, but the receeding hairline is on it's way...hehehe. Take care!;)

I'm quite static on these recordings, since I had to lay them down on first or second take, but for the moment I'm working on expresivity and subtle details that may help with the groove. Personally I think Donati to be one of the warmest (so to speak) virtuous drummers out there. He understans and applies simplicity and his expressivity on the hi-hat is in my opinion unique. I'm really glad to see people don't consider this just "engineer rock". I feel it's vibrating THANKS :)

i love this tune from planet x. it's the best groove in 7 that i've ever heard. that quarter notes of 7/4 over 7/8, that's how odd meter should be played. great job on covering virgil's drumming, you're trully a great drummer -vivaoddmeter-

The paradiddle is between bass drum and hi-hat pedal.
