  • Sorry, but the thing with the electro shock is (at least for me) only partly true.

    I have lost in, more or less, 9 month over 40 Kilos (?pounds?), and my skin is several numbers too big for me. I'm going to the gym and have quite good results, but not THAT good. So I have decided to go to a special body therapy that helps me with my skin problem, and it works!

    OK, it doesn't feel THAT good (using high voltage [remember Crank2, when he used the car?]) but it works! The results are incredible!

  • What are my six meals? I'm actually going to make a video on that because all the time I get comments like "I dont have time to eat well". I work three jobs and if I can eat 6 healthy meals, anyone can. I'm going to make a video of my daily nutritional regimen which will include eating at the computer, eating on the tailgate, and eating on the beach.

  • Starving yourself, eating so little that you are always hungry, is counter-productive! You can get ripped just by eating 5-6 small, healthy, well balanced meals a day. Starving yourself only leads to binging.

  • You have 6-pack abs and dont do anything? Count yourself lucky and enjoy them why you have them. You cant coast on good genetics forever. As you age your metabolism will slow down and the beer belly will start forming. You can learn good fitness and nutrition now, or you can learn it later - the choice is yours.

  • had that problem too. it's cus your form's not good. you're favouring one side. take a video of yourself working out and correct it afterwards, worked for me.

  • unsymmetrical as in upper part more defined than lower? if that's it then yes, it's the way you work out

  • Unsymmetrical, means your abs are not side by side. It's the way your body is built and there is nothing you can do to change it I'm afraid, not that it's a bad thing.

    The right or left side of your abs will be higher/lower than the other side, unlike scoobys.

  • well, you are going to get malnourished. The idea is to loose fat, not muscle.

  • No man. Basically, what I've been doing is eating MUCH less than an average person. That's a lot of mental toughness.

    1. Have a very good breakfast, such as toast, a bowl of cereal, and FRUIT!

    2. After that, DO NOT eat anything else. At around 9 o'clock eat 2 apples (nothing else or else you will ruin everything), and go to bed.

    And 3. The most important thing is drink around 2 liters of water EVERY DAY.

    then thats when you do ab exercises to build the core

    e.g. many reps of crunches

  • Just because he said you dont need to do ab exercises to get abs doesnt mean you shouldnt do them. Ab exercises make them bigger and stronger.. what he says in the video is what you need to "see" them. ie cardio

  • I got a six pack in 2 weeks by just reducing my carb intake, drinking green tea three times a day. Increasing protein intake, doing scooby's method of crunches with the added weight plus bicycle kicks. It's that easy people, cardio isn't needed unless you have a lot of body fat to shred.

  • very true what he said about fighting how much of the power does not come from the shoulders and arms yet how you throw a punch using both your core and legs, throwing powerful and concise punches comes from the hips and legs and of course arms and shoulders in a flowing motion. Most importantly you don't need to be chiseled at all to be a good fighter who can deliver explosive power. If anything all u need to do is pushups pullups and dips and run to be in shape. scooby ur still the man

  • Ok 1 question , im a ecto/mesomorph i have broad shoulders and a 27 inch waist ive been doing gym for 1 year already and made great results. But i want to show my abs.. and u say the only way u can get it is do cardio and eat less?? If i do that wont i lose muscle mass and weight......

  • You have abs and you dont know how you got them? Consider yourself very fortunate! The swimming definitely helped but my guess is that the foods you like and normally eat are healthy ones rather than chips, fries, and cookies. If you eat healthy and are already pretty lean it takes very little effort to get 6-pack abs

  • its probs your body fat content. your close like JUST there. you need to do cardio and eat a little less like scooby has said above :)

  • that simply means that you dont have that much body fat but you have small abs, you have to work them with more intensity and less repetitions.

Eat small dishes like fruits and foods that have calcium and protein to let your muscles grow.Make sure to eat these dishes 3 to 4 hours to make you less hungry and to keep your metabolismm running

  • Also I have been doing a lot of ab and hip flexor workouts to gain endurance. They consist of road and off riding. I have noticed a slight drop in the amount of weight I can put up, however I noticed my body becoming more lean and gaining substancial definition. I have changed my diet to a more high in water and carb diet with lots of snacking to help sustain me through my rides. Will the strength possibly come back after a while.

    I was a big work out buff mostly through higschool and my bodytype is one that builds muscle and gains strength rather easier than most. I started bicycling a few months ago and made it a passion and a daily hobby.

    In my work out routine I replaced a lot of cardio such as running with biking, is this a possible bad thing? I am not really looking to gain fast, but curious if it would be good to still do both?

  • you need to do ab exercises to make your abs bigger.removing the fat is the other half of the job.if it was just cardio than everyone would have abs

    The ONLY part that I could partially disagree with is the idea of doing 60 mins. a day of cardiovascular workouts. Cardiovascular fat burning workouts should be anywhere from 75% intensity and up. I believe that its more so 30 mins. a day at most. Or else its counterproductive to training

    And cardiovascular workouts should be done with strength building workouts but with necessary resting time for your muscles to rebuild.

    That's my 2 cents.

  • I disagree about the "eating less" part. Weight loss isn't about STARVING yourself. It's about making more nutritious choices in your daily diet. If you "eat less" your metabolism will slow down and eventually, you'll GAIN all of your weight back. My point is to eat smaller portions of food about 6 times a day. That way your metabolism keeps working and you will actually keep the weight off.
