That God knows what goes on inside of our hearts is also absolutely true. If the guys wanted to make the point that people believe we are saved by our own righteousness, they needed to ask the next question "Are there people who truly love and seek God? Are you one of them?" Now, the answer to that question would make the point the guys wish to make.
@pookiethesnazzy You sound like you don't even remotely understand a thing they're saying. It's not about being good or even trying to be good, but because of Christ has done FOR them through HIS goodness the prostitutes and tax collectors go in to heaven before the Pharisees.
When you clothe your self in good deeds you're no different than Adam and Eve who clothed themselves in fig leaves. When God clothes you in His righteousness, you are clothed.
An unfair conclusion is drawn from the answers to the question "Do you agree or disagree with this, God knows that no one is perfect but he looks on the heart to see who truly loves him and seeks him". By saying they agree with this statement, they are not saying that we are saved according to our own righteousness. "God knows that no one is perfect" - this is absolutely true.
This happened in Pasadena in 1994 (I was there) and I understand it was videoed by CURE, so Shane or Mike Horton may well know where it's still available.
No link, sorry. They gave it (mp3 audio download) as an incentive to join once. Participants were William Marshner, Patrick Madrid, and the inimical Robert Sungenis, against the good guys.
I didn't know that; cool. I did read an interview Horton conducted with him in the most recent Modern Reformation. It might be that interview they'll play, then cut to the foursome. Can't miss that one! :)

Yea! Finally some White Horse Inn exposure on YouTube. Thanks. Too bad there's no video of that post-CET debate with Rod, Mike, and Dr. Godfrey.

Yeah! I wrote them yesterday and Rosenthal said it would be fine. This show is great! It needs more exposure.
I'm not sure about that CET debate. I've never heard of it. Do you have a link?

Oh, wow. That's interesting. Did you know that Sungenis is scheduled to be on November 4th discussing the Roman view of justification with Horton?

Did this interview take place? Was it aired? Can you give me a link? We offer the mp3 debate of which you spoke of on the CAI website.
