@heracles04 you can find some vids on here of attackers going faster or full speed with Vlad. It seems to be very effective. I know it doesn't look effective, I thought the same thing. Find a seminar near you and attend. It is very eye opening.

I've massive respect for Vlad, though I notice a large amount of his knife defence involves utilising the unsharpened edge. I'd like to see what he did if the attacker reversed the edge to face towards himself. (No doubt it wouldn't pose a problem; I'd just like to see what he did).

Guess I shouldn't underestimate Systema, it seems more realistic when he inflicts pain and goes at real-world speed.
