Great rendition of 'Kansas City' originally first recorded by Little Willie Littlefield in 1952, but made into a number 1 pop and R&B hit in 1959 by Wilbert Harrison from my home state of North Carolina!! Tom Jones and the orchestra did a great job! Love Tom's dance moves!!
I love Tom, but nothing beats the all out sexual tension and Robert plantesque Might of elvis 68 special version heartbreak hotel, i really think the first lines of that version, well, robert plant never sounded that hardrocking.
all the hips and shakes finally went out of elvis again after than boring movie career.
Very perceptive. You are right. If TJ had been born in the good old USA, he would have the biggest singer of all time. He was never really accepted coming from Wales. He is still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Can you believe that?
Incredible live singing in these clips, don't you agree? Stunning singling, and gyrating arse hips too, I suppose....

I'm a huge Elvis fan, but mister Jones has the better voice, and matches Elvis' 68 comeback special in power and performance.
