I've seen the exact same thing in b.c, Canada...one day I was outside with my friend, I looked in the sky and I noticed a white thing...it wasn't a balloon cause the thing wAs big, and it didn't look like a plane...so I swear it wasa UFO...and there was no wind at all.....I was trying to get a video but my camera blurred it out, then the object went behind trees by a lake and it disappeared :/

The Global news group will sometimes team up with the weather station and launch weather balloons out at the city centre airport or at the Garrison base, you might have just caught sight of one and they do eventually pop and come back down...I know I know cover up story lol

i've seen something like this, but i knew it wasn't a start because in the 15 minutes i was watching it, it just disappeared... not a satellite, no a plane, and definetly not a star

That is probably the International Space Station, it passes over edmonton, pretty often.

i keep seeing these stars that are moving in the sky they move pretty fast and desaper i live by edmonton city airport.

I think it's a star. It does not appear to be moving relative to the contrail/clouds. It would be interesting to find out the time od day, and what bright stars were visible, or if Venus was visible at that time. If this was morning, Venus is often referred to as "The Morning Star."

A good while back I remember seeing one(a few years), I just can remember exactly where abouts. Its a fair distance between Boyle and Kikino, but I saw one along one of those roads. I'm not from the area so I don't know all the names of locations, but I have an estimated area as to where I saw it. Funny thing was CF-18s flew over Kikino and were operating around that area next day.

my kids school had sled rides with horses for a christmas party this year, and i asked my kid to find the brightest star in the sky, and she found it, then not even a min. later she says no that one is and all the other parents seen it to it was way to bright to be a star, and it took off so fast never seen anything that fast b4. that was in north edm

was your christmas party around the 7 or eight of december because i was cutting across a field after hockey at around 9 pm and i turned and looked in the sky and saw this like incandescent light bulb colored oval ship that just flew across so fast probably about doing 1-2 km in a second and within a couple of seconds it was gone. this happend in the julia kiniski field in mill woods in edmonton. But the scary thing is that as soon as it got near the ravine valley it just disapeard.

i dont no what it was dude might of been a ufo and i believe man.ive seen ufos over st.albert and morinville unfortuanatly for me ididnt have a cam to prove it just i new it was no plane or helicopter by the ways it moved from just hovering to shooting across the sky like nothing
