It's completely free. You just have to be at the theater about 40 minutes before the show. They have you compete against other customers that want to be in the show. They don't base it on who scores the best all the time, sometimes they pick the most outgoing of the guitarists, drummers, ect...
Let's say you have one guitairist that scores 100%, but he appears very boring and shy. Then you have another guitarist that scores 92% but he is dancing around a little bit and has a huge smile on his face while playing. They are going to choose the 2nd guitarist with the less points because he will look better on stage.

that show was sexist. they wouldnt pick any girls. i auditions and was the most energized twice. that was so mean.

I'm thinking of doing this in august but I wanna know if it costs money to do this, or if you could go up as just a guitarist.
