Terence McKenna is an awesome thinker and speaker. I can only recommend to listen to him if you don't know about him yet. He may appear to be odd and somewhat crazy if (t)his kind of material is out of your comfort zone.. but just try listen what he's trying to say about things like culture, consciousness, etc.

Assange is simply a fall guy in a much larger agenda and for this reason alone he must remain free.

It is a symptom of the subconscious unease Americans feel about their media--that it is "embedded" or, put more simply, lying to support the government in return for access. Re 8:15, the police arresting witnesses to crimes... this does actually happen in England, near enough. People are becoming hesitant to call the police here because there's a good chance they'll look for excuses to arrest the victim or witnesses rather than chase the perp.
I've seen it happen several times.

Terence McKenna once gave an enlightening speech on UFO's. He said "We don't know exactly what they are, but we know what they do". UFO's force science to reckon with its inadequacy in the absence of spirituality. In this same way Assange forces us to face our conscience. Our society is corrupt in that it doesn't work together. It's much harder to fight each other over views than it is to fight the government, yet that's what we do. We need solidarity, not semantics.

Terence McKenna is an awesome thinker and speaker. I can only recommend to listen to him if you don't know about him yet. He may appear to be odd and somewhat crazy if (t)his kind of material is out of your comfort zone.. but just try listen what he's trying to say about things like culture, consciousness, etc.
Added bonus: he's got an tremendous vocabulary and just listening to what he says will improve your mastery of the English language, lol. :)
