  • Idio**en!!

  • -4k USD....... thats sick man

  • And this is why you check your cinch about 100xs before you go in the pen, but hey, stuff happens but DAMN there goes his $4,000+ cutting saddle.

  • loud bang @ 0:04 i think it was the cinch strap snapping

  • CUTTING SADDLES ARE EXPENSIVE!!!!!

  • im sry it was kinda funny wen the horse relized the saddle wasnt coming off then its kinda scary tht saddle is tooooast tho

  • Wouw!!! Exacly the same happened to one of the horses at my riding school... cool =)

  • If its one thing I learned from dad who trained cutters for years....DON'T use a leather strap to keep your cinch.. NYLON PPL...NYLON!!!! It wont break and it dang sure wont stretch out...once you place the "key" of the cinch in the hole..Its in there!!! But you have to be the responsible party to check the thing before you climb aboard. Lol!!! And yea, that saddle is Toast! Wow!

  • This is why you check the girth 50 times after cinching up your horse, and also why you use a breast collar...lol this made me laugh...people are so dumb. Poor horse..

  • come on people how do we know the horse didn't suck in as he was turning? my aunts horse does it when she gets spooked.

  • I've seen a gelding injure his sheath and penis so badly from having a saddle slip back like this that he ended up having to be put down. If you can't urinate, you can't really survive. Has made me extremely paranoid though about checking tack...

  • what an idiot, cant even put the seat on the right way...

  • there goes your saddle

  • Lesson learned? Always check ur tack and breast collar next time?

  • shit

  • What an idiot -.- ALLWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR EQUIPMENT IS TIGHT :/

  • the horse prob bloats lol

    I love when horses do that!

    mine doesn't though, she's a good girl!

  • YIKES!

  • O_o Yikes... My greatest fear in riding... Those poor legs. T_T

  • Breast collar next time?

  • I'm glad that the rider and the horse survived this wreck.

  • well all i can say is poor saddle haha :)

  • that saddle was toast...

  • yikes... that saddle was toast hope the horse was ok...

    ~~~Dortae~~~
  • Gutted, looked like they were doing well. Poor horse :(
  • ooops poor saddlexDDD
  • i don't agree that this has happened to every good rider. good riders make sure the girth is tight before they start cutting. :P
  • lol poor guy...
    poor horse!!!!
  • that already happened to every good rider ;)
    thats true klind 1 msn : Shit happens...lol
  • lol i hate to break it to ya but ive been riding for 14 years and that has YET to happen to me.
  • That happened to me two weeks ago only I was leadin my horse after I was done riding and I loosened the saddle and he spooked and took off. This was at a show and he ran around the grounds with the saddle under him! when we caught him i thought he would have broke all his legs but the darn horse was ok! hes my cow horse LOL sht happens
  • Ha ha
  • whoops!
  • Ooppss!!!!!!
  • Oh, fuck it! Poor rider!
    Some years ago I've seen an accident like that, too ...
    The rider wanted to com in the saddle and the saddle went unter the horse ...
    The rider broke her leg ...
    And the horse didn't want to hold on.
    It was horrible.
    Can you ride the horse anymore?
  • poor saddle!
  • holy crap, that sucks. Thats why you always check your girth and wear a breast collar
  • i dont know any cutters who put breast collars on...some say they get in the way of the shoulder
  • wow..im sure the tree of that saddle was busted!
  • Sucks when this happens. But you know, it happens so often, the girth ends up being too loose because the horse holds it's breath and you forget to check it. It was just a common mistake. Poor horse though, I'd hate to see the saddle! o__o;
  • I know people always forget to put the gurth you have to check people dont get it when i tell them!!!
  • agree! And why dont I see it being reminded in so many "teachingvids" ment for the beginners? O_o the most easiest sounding things are also most easiest to forget, so kids should be reminded of it..!
  • this also always happens with western saddles. the cinch gets looser much faster then english. when i ride i always have to check my cinch after an hour or so cause it gets loose.
  • Hes a nice  horse!
  • STFU
  • lol the saddle is too heavy? that is like the dumbest thing i've ever heard!! horses are tougher than you give them credit for. you must have raise a pretty babyish horse. sissy pony lol
  • watched again and again and someone didnt check the girth the guys balance was awesome but the saddle first slipped forwards further onto the withers and then slipped sideways - CHECK GIRTHS my sister broke her arm coz she forgot to check hers once and went for a gallop - luckily the saddle didn't do that was just side on and the horse stopped after she fell anyways
  • thats what happend to my horse the lunge line got caught in her legs and she took off
  • dude, poor horse, it was al scared at first doubting and when there came no help he fled.. poor thing, wouldn't want to see the saddle though, sounded like it is in pretty bad shape now and i'd be surprised if the saddle slipped because of his fall, i indeed think it's the other way around...
  • if any one was wondering this is what the box on the right says
    "Many saddles by cutting ending their careers crumbled by the hooves of a horse!"
  • I bet that saddle is toast. Kudos to the little app that didn't flip out while this scared guy was being attacked by a killer saddle :)
  • poor horse..he has the same spook reaction as my gelding..a little slow.=-) if a deer pops out of the bushes or something, he kind of goes, "i'm ok, i'm ok..i'm a big boy and a tough guy...AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIIIFFFEEE!!"
    hope the rider remembers to tighten his cinch next time.
  • thats how ur horse can severly hurt themselves come on its common sense to check ur cinch expecially when ur in a show and cutting come on!!!!!!!!!! poor horse
  • yeah cuz i'm sure that person planned to fall off, scare their horse, and have their saddle completely destroyed. do you think they could control what happened??
  • I think the reason why he fell off is because the saddle started to slip before he fell. The saddle didn't slip because he fell off so what Maresrock 101 says is true. I check my cinch at least 3 times before I get on.
  • That was way too loose. Did you even check it once?
  • tighten your cinch!
  • bless he was scared :(
  • man next time make sure that the girth is real tight
  • next time make sure the cinch is tight.
  • holey shit
  • Completamente d'accordo con te !!! ...
  • Molte selle da cutting terminano la loro carriera sbriciolate dagli zoccoli di un cavallo!! ...ed aggiungerei ... Il tutto con gran piacere dei rivenditori di selle :-p:-p
  • WOW, what a wreck, that horse thought he had a cougar hanging off of him. Just goes to show you a horses flight or fight reaction and the power they have.
    I would say that guy had great balance for the first part....cutting on an un- cinched horse.
    I hope the horse doesn't have long term issues or that one.
  • always ckeck ur cinch before you go into the pen!
  • aw man what a bummer. With cutting especially...check that girth!!!
  • Holey moley.. that saddle must be totalled.
  • Oh my gosh! Poor horse!.. what kind of shape was the saddle in after?
  • OMG. That's sooo scary. How horrifying, my friends horse did that but inside the barn with the saddle on his back on cross ties. I mean the bucking part, in place. He reared in place, struck out, bucked, kicked and they finally got it off him. Hope that horse is okay, after falling and getting it's reins wrapped around it's legs.
  • awe the poor horse was so scared holy!! I think that man is going to check his cinch next time..
  • wow....poor horse...and i hope the saddle was ok...
  • wow....poor horse...and i hope the saddle was ok...
  • I saw a horse do that once and he got his leg caught in the stirrup and broke it completely in two. Moral of the story...tighten the cinch!
  • Oh!
    gosh..
    i think this is pure education!
    Check ur girths!
    errrr... poor man.. Poor Horse!
    its easy to laugh at.. but if u were in this situation??
    nowthis arfeter noon when im cutting.. ill probably be full of fear haha!
  • good it is a good attempt, must buy cutting horses of blood, not do those that are not for cutting
  • Well that's not being a stereotype at all!
  • such a avoidable thing.
    cutting horse 50k and up
    cutting saddle 5 k and up
    not girthing your horse up priceless
  • gess..
    i would hope he he good insurance..
    those saddles can cost HEAPS!!
  • he sure made quick work of that saddle... Ha!
  • Poveroo:(
  • hahahah horsie.
  • omg poor horse i would of tightend it before hand xD but i hope it was an inspencive saddle :X
  • yes of COURSE if this were you it would have never happened... No. shit happens. I had my only cinch break on me while galloping uphill and turning at the same time. my ass fell off in the mud and my horse galloped down the trail. Wasn't my saddle or horse either!
  • Lol I Sure hope that saddle wasnt expensive
  • poor horse....
  • well i hope that wasnt an expensive saddle...lol
  • some times the cinch comes un done when you are cutting it happens to me and you just have to catch it but he was compeating and he didnt want to soo his loss!
  • TIGHTEN UR GIRTH! and is the hors eok
  • poor horse...
    stupied guy needs to check the girth BEFOR he gets on.
    oh and Good bye Saddle
    lol
  • umm...thats happend to me but not to that extreme..um hows the saddle..im shure the guys ok..unless the cows "GOT" hm...lol..im joking
  • (in the words of the rider) "Note to self: check the cinch before mounting."
  • IS THE HORSE OK!?!?! i dont care about hte guy i know he is fine
  • Its not the horses fault , guy.
  • oh my
    someone needs to tighten their girth lol
  • Che figuraccia!
  • OMG! were they ok??
  • there goes the saddle...
  • meno male che non si sono fatti male ( cavallo e cavaliere ) meglio non risparmiare troppo sulle selle salvo non sia stato un errore di chi ha sellato il cavallo :-p
