Not enuf room to fin comment! The team from Boston beat the living crap out of our Catholic Youth Organization Christ the King 8th grade Vermont state champions! It was a humbling experience but the thrill of doing layup warmups in front of that huge and smoky crowd was a memory never to be forgotten! I was 3rd string and did not get a chance to play,but did suit up and do layups! The coach of our team was a friend of my father so we got to sit in the metal seats under the baskets! Awesome!

I saw a game courtside between the Celtics and Sixers in 1967 at the Boston Garden. It was awesome the way they started to whip the ball around so fast the human eye could not follow it! And to see these monsters moving so quickly was in itself crazy. Loved it.My Grade school team played an exhibition game against one of Bostons 8th grade teams before game!

@EliasJordan3 Actually, Einstein, he took 2 steps. That first step you're referring to is him gathering his dribble.

Notice how the ball is still bouncing up towards his hand when his left foot is coming down. That doesn't count as a step. His first step isn't until AFTER he gathers his dribble.

So two steps = legal dunk. And it's on a freackin' commercial.

MJ can jump way higher than that, but due to the complexity of contorting and maneuvering his body to pull off the "rock-the-cradle" dunk, it's natural he didn't reach the same height as say a regular breakaway one-handed tomahawk dunk.
