Shitty or not, I have done already 100000km in it. Nice, pleasurable drive. Very, very reliable wehicle. After conversion to LPG Im also laughing while refuelling. Aha - door handles are still intact.
@5084204 Well one thing it has that is decent is that the engine is a mitsubishi motor for both 4 clylinder and V6 models. Mitsubishi have always built smooth silky motors but just be warned they fall apart quickly and get smelly and smokey. so enjoy it while its running well because u have that to look forward too:)

I have the same car(1996, color) black leather sits,engine 2.0 16V , 232165 km , the best car for low price, there is so much space inside, gearbox is a little shity, but i never have any mager failer and i am the first owner.....Croatia, Crikva, pozdrav ljubiteljima Hyundai
it died at 355,000km, honestly i bought it to have for about 200,000km and it just kept going and going!! head gasket went but i dont want to fix im sick of it:) yeah interior is pretty crap, no style and dam cheap!!
Engine cranking over sounds just like the 2.0 Liter I4 in our 99 Hyundai Tiburon.

its got 350,000km's now which is about 217,479 miles! but its still going although the gearbox is piece of shit but clutch is still good!
