I enjoyed watching your video. I like how you bring attention to the way both sides of the debate tend to dramatize and misrepresent the opposing side and their goals. Thank you. ^_^
I don't think there can ever be true dialogue between the two sides till each side looks at the other side. Listening to the complaints and worries of the other side. You know debating like in a relationship :)

Well made. Unfortunately not everyone will look at the others side. Nor will people who's views are religious accept the separation of church and state as far as laws go.
Hell the radicals on the other side want to deny the members of the lgbt community the right to adopt and be foster parents. Look at arkansas. That bill that just passed. Well it originally said only gay people that state said that was to exclusive. So they went back and made it so anyone not in a traditional marriage wouldn't be aloud to do it. After the bill passed more then 400 kids were taken out of loving homes. Think that should have been front page not prop 8!
Well, we just have to wait till some case comes up to the US Supreme court, then if they do follow the law, they will have to rule it as discrimination, and would universally make it legal.
50 Years ago they did that for interracial marriage, on a case that the original judge ruled as religious, saying God's intention not to mix races.
Just imagine how horrible it would be if you had to have a permit to have a child.
well the gay marriage and transgender rights will never be settled till either it passes threw the US senate and the president can vote on it. Or the supreme court. All the states do is give those in power a working model of what works and what doesn't.

It did a good job of showing it.
I loved the kid side though, that was the best.
We have enough children who are in foster homes, there is no reason to deny the capable of adopting a child.

not sure how that is working. But i know if a cohabiting hetero couple tries to become foster parents they can't. At least in Arkansas.

Well, at least we are drifting in a direction that tends to support rights for all people.
Makes me wonder what group will be persecuted next though. Probably the atheists... somehow... who knows.

Well they are sort of. Atheist can't hold public office in i think 7 states.

Yeah, know of that. Unfortunately an atheist wouldn't even bother running in those places.
Though technically, those laws are of course illegal, we just would need someone to actually contest them.
I believe they refer to "God", makes me wonder if someone who believed in "Allah" or maybe a monolatrist or polytheist ran there.
Sure, they wouldn't get elected. A good bringing up of the issue would be great though.

Fair Use! Though the lines are of course blurry, crooked, and flexible.
Better safe than sorry. I am considering to start making videos, but I'mna need something specific first, and need to decide how I want to do videos.
