@eljugadorloco lmao we all do,but a hell of alot of people are gonna quit i bet, a few of my friends bought 360s lol but at least we get free things like free music,ps+ and some free games
Don't now if this has been posted yet, but song #8 is Armando Sciascia - Melancholy Organ, also from Unippm.
I don't know exactly when it was made, but it seems to be from 1960's libraries.
Overall, BFBC2's OST is awesome and most of the songs are from libraries from the 60's. They just weren't available to general public. Examples are John O'Brien Docker (all tracks), Pete Philips - Scramble, Jack Arel & Jean Claude Petit, etc..
92% of teens have turned to pop and hip-hop.If you are part of the 8% that still listens to REAL music, copy and paste this message to 5 other videos. DONT LET rock n roll die!
I hate how all the music in the music in this game that's ACTUALLY 60s music is all clichéd. Fortunate Son by CCR and For What It's Worth by Buffalo Springfield are both great songs but, I'm sorry, they've been used in enough Vietnam War films that you wonder why the hell they would put them in this? I'd rather given it a soundtrack full of really good 60s music by very popular artists at the time but haven't been used in Nam war films before. I mean come, on! This music is fake!
@Garrence88 I'm referring to the fact that the music didn't exist during the Vietnam War. Why waste all this money and time for someone to make an entirely inaccurate soundtrack when you could just include music from the time period. I'd rather hear real 60s music in the game. And no, don't go ahead and say, "Oh, they've got Fortunate Son!" because that just proves your ignorance. Anyone who knows anything about 60s music and Vietnam war films knows that is the most clichéd song used.
@Transformers2themax How is the music inaccurate? It sounds pretty 60's to me. Fortunate Son just get's annoying after the first 500 times it plays. While I agree that it would make more sense to use music made in that era, music that sounds like it's from that era is just as good.
@Garrence88 Eh, I guess. Though, it still was a waste of time and money. What's the worst par tif the fact that they just wasted making a ripoff of Purple Haze when they could have just used the real song, a song that actually existed during the 60s, in the game.
@Transformers2themax So basically your saying they didnt use organs (instrument) during the 60's? are you also saying they didnt have funk songs during the 60's and 70's? These songs are totally funky my friend and sound like the 60's-70's vibe so calm down
@Macman554 I am calm. I'm just bothered how some of the music in the game DIDN'T exist during the Vietnam War. Idk. I guess it fits the mood and it's just a set of themes for the game, not something the troops are listening to out in the bush. When you've watched a lot of war films, it gets very annoying to have to listen to Fortunate Son every time they make something new that involves Vietnam.
@TheToastersOfficial Because I found a file that had a bunch of songs (not all of them) and only included parts of some songs. I had to find the rest off here: unippm.fr/#/en.aspx
This is what i have been looking for! It has most of the tracks that are in the game and so on so fourth, but there are some problems, concerning the named tracks
1) There is 2 Tracks called Rhythim under the skin" but one is Susie
2) Nivrvana Express is also the Unknown Track 16
3) A few songs seem to cut off halfway for some reason
4) There are 2 "Strange Galaxies"
5) Add some track numberds to the info, make it friendly to iTunes and whatnot
could number 8 be a song by milt buckner? they used a song by him called 'the beast' for the menu theme in the first bad company, and this song has a similar structure and sound.
@BasementBeginnings Have you considered that, because DICE used 'The Beast' by Milt Buckner as the Bad Company 1 menu music and that DICE also made BC2 and the Vietnam expansion, these factors would increase the possibility that this song (which sounds very similar to songs made and performed by Milt Buckner) is also by Milt Buckner?
@seanyb109 Flawed logic, for that is like implying there is one definitive sound, and all songs that sound alike are performed by the same artist. That's like playing a Mafia game and saying that the soundtrack is all Frank Sinatra because all songs have that Big Band & Swing hook to them - when in fact most of the music of that era was like that.
Listen to Booker T. and the MGs - Green Onions. Remarkably similar to The Beast, but not necessarily the same artist.
@BasementBeginnings I never said/implied that at all buddy. All I did was ask a question about whether a song was by a particular artist, and then when you put shit on me for that question, all I did was state that the reason I asked that was due to A. a similar sound and B. the fact that Milt Buckner was used in the original BC game, perhaps increasing the chance.
I never said it was gospel, nor did I openly state that this song was definitely by Milt Buckner, I merely asked a question.
@seanyb109 Wait. "Putting this shit on you?" I've just pointed out one flaw in your argument - if you feel as if I'm trying to insult you in some way, then it is unintentional.
I never said you said it was gospel. And I know you didn't definitively state this is a Milt Buckner, but asked a question - to which I've simply answered with an objective "nope."
Then you asked another question. I disagreed with its thought process and correctively replied with an example so as to convince you, okay?
@BasementBeginnings No I fully accepted your first answer, I didn't accept how the second sentence of that comment attempted to make me look a fool.
"Just because this song has a Hammond Organ, it doesn't make it a Milt Buckner."
That is the reason I have reacted to your comments and have attempted to back up my thoughts, as this sentence pissed me off, yet I accept now that it was unintentional. My apologies, I just hope you accept that I was defending against what i saw as an insult.
@seanyb109 I accept that, and also offer my own apology if my words sounded more hostile or condescending than I intended it - for the mistaking of some tracks on a Bad Company: Vietnam for a Milt Buckner track be common - so it was never a shot at your intelligence.
But thanks for the modesty, and enjoy the music! According to JmrFaria, number 8 is a track by Armando Sciascia named "Melancholy Organ", and most of these songs were kept in 60s libraries and not available to the general public.
Thank you for having the trouble of finding the songs. I listened to the short clip of Operation: Hastings soundtrack for over 200 times on my long trip to see some relatives, that song just kept me going.
@SurrealWorks Some other dude did about 1 hrs worth, but it can only be done via the xbox version. The rest of them I used the credits to find the artists, which led me to the universal website which had all the music there. I then found the artist I was looking for, and then listen to their entire collection. If I recognize song, I recorded it and labeled it. Then I compiled it all and added it here. Took about 2-3 days (had time off to).
ohn O'Brien-Docker - A Sunny Day is not complete, ending after 1:10..and nowhere to found on the internet, even with the title "a sunny day" - theres no song title from o'brien-docker with this name .. !?
