To all those who are having this problem and have tried everything,like turning your java script on and off and even downloading the newest version of adobe flashplayer and still are having problems,well I was also having the same issue until I tried something I had read in one comment that someone else had recommended under one of these videos.I went to bottom right hand corner of my tool bar and clicked on windows update and updated everything and that actualy resolved this issue.

best and safest way to do this and get results is to open tools then the error console and clear the error console it worked for me my problem was i could veiw flash content on videos everywhere even the one main video on youtube's homepage but not when i would click them it would state i needed the newest flash player i installed and still not working hope this helps someone cause i had to figure it out for myself im just glad it didnt take hours.

Sounds like you have the same prob as I did. Go to your computer security (Norton or whatever you have) and turn off the ad blocker, restart your web browser and all the videos should play. It took me forever to figure this out. It worked for me after about a year trying to figure this out and I just did it today!! Good luck!!

open up your norton main page and go to the security tab.....open that and there should be a on/off for your ad blocker....It worked for me. alot of those vids that wont play have some sort of commerical and it wont play because it had an ad.... It makes sense now but before I couldnt figure it out.....

You know those videos you get on websites that are off YouTube that only contain videos that are "embed" or something, well if you watch them on a different website you don't actually need flash player to watch them and the majority of the videos of YouTube are there.

Don't use Explorere, use Mozilla Firefox and no problem there. I don't know why, it's the same computer, but I only get the error message on explorer. Thus, I will be using firefox from now on. I hate problems, don't you?

I didn't have that icon, so I clicked what I had and a new flash update started loading and now it works on explorer. Go figure.
