we only won, because we got help from the french. if we did not get help from the french we would have lost. at least we helped the french in WWI, and WWII.

I never seen wing commander, but I will give it a watch tonight. Patriot, although was fiction, it was an enjoyable movie.

While the actual characters in The Patriot were fiction - the movie was based on actual events. I was pointing out that your statement about French was correct.

Wing Commander is a decent movie for the most part. Although its been beaten senseless by critics.

Our army was a bit different than theirs. At the time wars were fought with more of a protocol - you shoot, then we shoot, and back and forth, etc etc... And everyone in a line blah blah blah. From what I recall many militia in the colonies didn't fight this way - giving us the upper hand.
