Ah I love this battle theme so much it totally matches with the battle its self, its to bad that the saga is over, I wish they could have redone this game, it has so much to live for, why if it was redone I beat it could rival what Square Enix could makes.

Man this battle took a long time for me. didn't have SeraphicRadiance so the whole fight was Yuri/Amon: Demon Ray, Alice: Arc, Keith: Mana restoration.

Personally I think Imbroglio should have been higher on the list, but compared to Astaroth's theme (the name of which I keep forgetting) it's the lesser of the two. I still remember this fight. My Haley was badass surprisingly enough.

Shadow Hearts was an AMAZING game. I loved the first one I didn't get to play the second or third...I've REALLY got to go out and get it again. Was a serious mindfuck in places <3 Epic as hell

Shadow Hearts had one of the most annoying battle themes ever, I think it was the one in China, not completely sure, but it was the one with the annoying OOoooOOhh synth voice going over and over again. BUT, SH also had several great battle themes!

I can never get sick of this song. xD Whenever I fight against the boss, I always crank up my sound system to almost full volume (ish...I mean, using "For The Children" makes a hell of a lot of noise that hurts if the sound is up too loud)

...God, I love SH and SH2. I'd love to play Koudelka sometime.

its a good game you should get it...well its a long story=.= but the bad guy is trygn to rign apocalypse so he can renew the workd in his image... you play the guy that by some random events tht you find out r all desteny(dont want to spoil too much) the poitn is its epic its funny & the story is awsome i recomend it...sorry for the spelling

This track is even more fitting if Yuri turns into the Seraphic Radience, or Dark Seraphim as it was known in covenant.

This game actually introduced me to a rather interesting idea.

The way I try to rationalize this is as to think of it as if we were all on one HUGE mulit-tiered cake. From our tier, we can look down and see all the other tiers and try and study them but we can only really see one tier upwards. We only get a peek of a face looking down every once in a while.

If it was merely a higher form of life than us like an alien, wouldn't there be other Gods? That's an interesting concept to think about... Some people think there's one God that controls everything and some people think there's multiple Gods that control one specific thing... I wonder if there's even a God at all... (Sorry, I'm Agnostic. I used to be Christian but I don't believe in some of the ideas in it anymore...)

One hell of a game, I wish they would have gone down a different path with the third, though. It had an amazing battle system, but my God was the story painful.

A prequel of the game would be nice, where you control Yuri's father and meet... you know who, and learn about his mysterious origins as a Harmonixer... yeah, that'd be awesome.

Where parts of the game take you to the US during the Great Depression. Where people are willing to sell their souls to demons to escape giant debts and what not sounds like a good idea to me too. :)

there is one it's called koudelka and it's for ps1 it shows yuri's dad! If u notice in SH Covenant, when they talk about Yuri's dad's adventures hey give u flashbacks of the game

@sabercat43 Well, technically Koudelka on the PSX is Shadow Heart's prequel. It takes place about 20 years before SH1, and many locales from Koudelka were in Shadow Hearts. Even the main character Koudelka makes an appearance in Shadow Hearts(you know who she is if you've played SH1)

I think the third should have had something in which the party came into conflict with the Nazis who were searching for some kind of occult thing for a superweapon to end the War... but nah, they settled with a Detective and a Slutty Indian girl breaking Al Capone out of prison, getting captured by a 7 year old pirate, and chasing 2 bad guys around the Americas until hey defeated them. Ugh... They ruined my favourite series... :(

I'm actually in the process of writing a Fan Fiction that begins assuming the good ending to this game is canon, and Alice is alive. Yuri and Alice live in Europe and have a son named Alex. Margarete is assassinated (as per true history) but it's discovered she faked her own death, and is alive. Eventually the party along with Roger Bacon and his new apprentice discover an ancient Neam-like space craft in Antarctica.

Dancing Mad from FF6 is right up there with fighting God. 16+ minutes of awesome. Though yeah this track tripped me out when I got to the end of this game.
