this might sound stupid but time travel would be more likely to happen if we only saw what we would like in 10 years or so, and we would be able to relive some of our memories. However I would prefer to go back to the past because you will live in the future either way or not.

I've solved every paradox that can occur. My solution is similar to the multiple world theory, but there are some changes.

Time travel to the past would violate the law of thermodynamics creating energy/matter...if parallel universes exists and it would be merely transporting matter into a parallel universe I guess it would be possible. But it would effect or could effect expansion of the universe. Maybe a type III/IV civilization would escape the cold death of the universe by traveling into the past with just enough matter to stop the expansion of universe and balance everything out.

@samtomatai The irony about that, is that "the past" already happened, so why wouldn't we be able to go BACK in time, as if to re-visit? I'm not debating you, I happen to agree with you, thought isn't it bizarre how we can theoretically go into a future that has yet to occur? Going BACK means using a Worm Hole which seems to rely on Chaos Theory somewhat; but its almost equally as dangerous as moving FORWARD through time, though more theoretically tangible. Its just amazing!

Consider this: The whole of existence is a time machine, everything we do, affects the time line, thus "history" as a tapestry is constantly being re woven,we of course are not aware as our memories are only the present "tapestry" thus my theory is?

Esurname, time travel into past is possible. that is when you travel through time you go into a different world or dimension. there are infine number of worlds like that and once you travel through time you can never return to the world from where you came.Each milli second or micro seconds have infinite number of worlds.

Here is my problem: for timetravel to be possible you must go from one place to another. Lets say dimensions. Then how many dimensions would there be. Imagine how many milliseconds there has been since the big bang. How would you find the right one?

you dont have to think about this because when u have not altered the time or travelled through time nothing changes, time and things go on. but when the time is altered there happens new changes. when u travel back into time and meet ur self its not actually u, its a different universe and things will happen according to what u do from then onwards, as everything is conected but u cant come back to the timeline or world from where u came from.its lost for ever.each time u travel time a new worl

The rate of expansion is increasing because the gravitational pull of the bodies within the universe slows it down when they are closer together, this force becomes less as they move further apart. The radiating energies have a longer range than the gravitational pull. It is only possible to move forwards in time at different speeds not backwards! Time for us began at the point of the last big bang. I think that when the universe expansion stops accellerating,and matter stops emitting energy and radiation. with nothing to propel the universe only gravity is left, this will pull the matter back together and the next big squeeze will give rise to another big bang, time will start again..

Yes time is infinite within the universe as a whole but at absolute zero in a part of the universe absent of all energy no molecules vibrate. This lack of vibration means they no longer move through space and are at a fixed point in space/time. For significant time travel it is not practical to travel vast distances at high speed. We could however artificialy vibrate molecules, ie water molecules in a microwave oven, but the heat will need to be removed Vibration without heat=time travel?

One theory to get around the time travel paradox is Parallel universe's and parallel time lines.Where as , if you went back in time and killed your grandfather before he met your grandmother you would start a new parallel time line with these changes while not affecting the other time line , it would stay the same as if you never killed your grandfather.
