I love the mom's hairdo. One of the great things about Sesame Street was that the muppets, monsters, and other critters (like Oscar) were a rainbow of colors. And somehow it didn't matter that some of them were purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, etc. For my part, I say the daughter gets the green genes from her dad --- his nose is green.

@Bardoftoday: No. This was when they were affordable and not the vintage cars they are now. As to those complaining about lack of seat belts, this was done during the 80's, where wearing seat belts wasn't as much a priority as it is now with the "Click It Or Ticket" campaign.

Ah, one of the mysteries of Sesame Street. Remember Natasha, the baby Muppet? Dad was Red-Violet, Mom was Light Blue, and she was Pinkish. When you figure out what dad's colors and mom's colors mix, they don't quite match the baby.
