Need for Speed is just rehashing old as fuck basic gameplay. They need to innovate somehow. If I wanted realism, I'd go play Forza Motorsport or Grand Turismo. The Need for Speed games I grew up on used to be about crazy street racing. These games are just boring racing games.

id idnt really like shift 1 it was good and all, but it was too much like gran turismo on ps2, the same courses and all way too technical, i like the old school need for speed racing that is compatible for people who really arnt THAT good at racing, i always tuned my car and the slightest wrong tune made me slide off the road or not be able to make he turns i wasnt a big fan of it at all and they shouldnt have made another one, they need to keep it more original

Don't you think there are enough simulation racers out there now! There was just a time where it was only Gran Turismo, but now it's all about realism and perfection! What ever happened to the NFS Underground? Most Wanted? Those games were fresh and fun! Just bring those games back! You can do so much more now with these new consoles! Make the biggest tuning options, biggest free roam street racing maps!

We can have simulation games, but don't let street racing die!

Seriously, there is no point in asking for Underground 3, or Most Wanted 2. All that you would get is nothing but an empty plot which makes no sense. If you use more than the 5% of the brain you think with, you would actually have some common sense as to why there is no continuation to both of those games.

I tried shift for the first time the other day. It's like a an arcady simulator racing game that fails on both fronts. It's not arcady enough for the people who usually buy nfs to buy it and it's not realistic enough for sim drivers to buy it. So who was it aimed at? This may be quite impressive from what ive seen and read, but what i want is a racing game the has cars from the widest range of manufacturers and SUPER-REALISTIC damage when you crash... I want twisted chasis, wheels flying off, broken axels, complete destruction of the engine bay, barrel rolling, 20 car pile-ups.... AND NO im not talking about a crappy arcade game like burnout. Keep it real-ish! when you drive a car at over 150mph into a guard rail/ wall the car should be proper F*$£ked!

The cockpit camera in Shift is the best camera angle in all of racing games.

ya shift is one of the best racing games i played.. i like hot pursuit but it lacks alot..first wheres the interior view.. second the free roaming is so shit.. i have gran turismo and thats the closest thing i got to feeling like an actual real life race on ps3.. but the graphics arent as good in most levels.. kind of cartonish and some cars dont have interior veiw.. i really hope shift is good graphics obvs interior view and free roaming and illegal street racing.. thats what makes a game sick

It's pure, untainted, fucking-insane driving fun. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't know about anyone else on this page, but SHIFT, so far, is THE best driving experience on a console I've ever had.

Car porn is nice and all, but I want something more. SHIFT delivers that more.

I'm pretty dissapointed with last games of NFS. THe best was Underground ,everything after is just nice graphics but gameplay has been forgotten by the makers. Anyway yesterday i had chance to play Pirsuit and controlling car (personally) su*ks. :/ I think that Forza is way way better. Let's hope that Shift 2 won't be another disaster!!!
