First, I know of no "public" ranges here in PA. There are tons of Rod and Gun clubs for $15-50/year. On an avg, can handle 4-10 shooters and a couple of bowman at a time.
Seems that your range is made to accommodate all shooters, which is a great feature. And at $40/yr, what a deal!
man, you think PA is bad? Try living in MD. The local range clubs charge hundreds for a yearly membership. The public ranges range from $5-10 per half hour. Range facilities are decent for the most part though. Nothing like Three Points
ccw is easy for law abiding citizens in PA. Go to the sherrif dept, fill out form, they do the background, and out you go with permit. $25 I think to apply. It is a little faster than purchasing a firearm because the lines at checkout are not as long!
wow, in Maryland you have to have to prove recent threats on yourself by either police reports or notarized statements. I can't stand it. I wish their was something i could do
i have a video of me shooting there. its called range day july 3 2011

I wouldn't mind living out there. Not just for the range, it just seems nicer over there.

I don't think PA is bad, just different.
Other than the clubs, we have plenty of private land to shoot and exercise on.
And I don't call those indoor 15yd ranges at high rates worth the time.
The news is bad again today. If you can carry where ever you are, please do.

Can you carry in PA? Maryland sucks, i couldnt get a CCW if i tried

My son(23) within a 3 hr period bought his ccw, and got the permit. The background check is what took so much time in prior years.
