He might be able to break a brick but what you really have to watch out for with this guy is that he is a liar and does not conduct an honest business. Do not trust his iron palm products. He never sent me my items. All he did was make promises that were never fulfilled.
I doubt the the quality of products now more than ever.
There are a lot of other trust worthy teachers out there. Brain Gray for instance has never failed me nor took me out of my money like this guy.
@culbriz thanx alot for the positive feedback. i am a fan of mma, but i am afraid i am too old now,LOL, i will be 40 next year. there is only 1 randy couture,LOL, he seems to get better with age. i have all the respect in the world for mma fighters.
I reason this way: weight training or not is irrelevant, since martial arts revolve around "the non physical" anyway. (use of physics, gravity, levers; chi)
Having a lot of muscle and strength or cardio is ultimately only beneficial for your health. It may help you get more coordinate and to overcome injury or prevent it mor easily in regards to combat.
That form at the beginning, it's Feeding White Crane Gung Fu isn't it?
@GoongFooStud yes the form is "sanchin" from shuri te,traditional okinawan karte, with serious hopei white crane influence. good eye.
i am soryy but i must respecfully disagree with you. having more strength and size will definately help you in a combat situation,up to a point as i realize bodybuilders would suck at fighting,as marius pudzianowski did in his mma debut. too big, and too slow.but strong as hell. i respect both strength and skill.
Makiwara boards are EZ to make. Simply bury a post and wrap it with rope. A two by four might be best to start with. One doestn' have to wrap the entire post/2 x 4 entirely with rope, just about 10 inches or so should suffice.
this is great if you dont mind can you wright me the steps so i can begin my own training, like what do i need do i have to practice on a makiwara ect.... thank you
@lordslayer22 i can help you on the weight lifting end,but i want to point you to my bro. bill die694,for info on the makiwara. he will be happy to help oyu.
