I will admitt that this a great thing but its just one problem that I run into alot of times with the post 9/11. Like my situation for instance, I finished my fall semester on 12/21/2010. But my school wouldnt allow me to register for spring til 01/12/2011 because i had 1rememdial class. so I only got paid 1900.00 and not 2754.00. I live in NYC and the rent is very high here by the time i paid my rent and car payment i only had 300.00 to last me until i registered for spring.

This GI Bill is awesome. It's too bad that a lot of vets are encountering problems with their school not submitting the forms (until the "drop" date) and still wanting tuition money.  I basically forced my SCO (school certifying official) to send in the paperwork by harassing him. It worked though. I got my BAH, book money, and tuition on time.
