Stalin killed all those people with his unyielding governmental power, so much for the stateless society that the communists promised. When you think about it communism and fascism aren't very different. One worships an ideal, the other worships the state. Both use murder and terror to squash political opposition.

@AntonioPMLI i never questioned stalins millitary tactics or the brave hearts of the people of the soviet union. i say he ruled the soviet union for the longest time (30 years, 11 months) and during that time he killed his own people, not just through executions but through starvation. stalin was too paranoid and ruled for too long. he had extreme ideas but he, in the end, only wanted power.

if stalin was good, why would lenin try to rid the communist party of him before he came to power?
