  • Banzai!!! lol

  • People always whine on videos like this, if it's U.S. history they claim it's "propaganda." I watched a British documentary on the Battle of Midway and some idiot tried to call it "American propaganda." People just hate America so they look up videos about U.S. history so they can whine about how it's all lies, not enough Americans died in European wars, bla bla bla.

  • american history fails to realise the british invented the first ever aircraft carrier and plane in 1918 as HMS Argus

  • God i cant stand american propaganda.

  • @Weemancake If you have another history that has more accuracy to it, I would like to know what that is. My documentary for PBS is not American propaganda. The historians are the best in their field at the history of naval aviation. What history and what historians do you take as more factual?

  • This documentary attempts to cover several broad topics, in a span of mere 90 minutes. There is bound to be selective simplifications that depend on the editors' social purposes, biases that has the potential to mislead which may seem like deliberate propagand to some.

  • @allinaday history or propaganda?

  • @Weemancake It isn't because what is said is false, but that it is the way that it is portrayed.

It's mostly that when talking about a navy, it is almost as if people expect that to mean the US Navy, and not any navy. This would be a nice documentary if it only had a slightly more informing title, and if it didn't portray the Japanese as "the bad guys". Even though they have had a share senseless people who fiddled with the army in disgraceful ways, the IJN and IJA wasn't made up of fanatics.

  • @Weemancake let them with his history, yes, this is history. they have the right have history, is one of the smallest history's in the world but is history, not propaganda

  • us navy wooooo!!

  • most pilots chose to be in naval aviation because they want to be an astronaut
