@Louie4631 you need at least 8x8x3 area around the spawner, little/no light, and you need to be within 15 blocks of the spawner for it to work.

@Louie4631 i left the same comment a few weeks ago. i figured out why. according to wiki, if there are more than 6 spiders within the 17x17 area (centered on the spawning thingy), the spawner wont spawn. So i digged further from the spawner, let the spider pile up at the end of the trap (much more than 8 blocks away from the spawner) while i stand near (withint 16 blocks) so they would keep spawning. i go afk, come back, tons of spiders.

@ChrisG140907 the line with 'E: x/x' tells entities within your line of site / total entities in the game (entities are mobs, mob drobs, floating broken blocks...)

You can't add redstone because it INSTANT health. It will happen right away. You don't want to make it last longer

I'm having this wierd problem where the spiders are tracking me through the walls, making them fight the current and climbing the walls filling up the inside of the spawner making them stop spawning.. how can i fix this?

Good sir, the reason I subscribed is because you make So many good inventions. Hopefully you make the crushers with the blazes as I tried to but entirely screwed up using normal pistons... :c But now I have faith in sticky pistons!

thats the same thing as it has no enchantment at all

since fortune enchantment causes non-block drops (coal, diamond, etc) to have a chance at being doubled when you break the block they come from.

There is no block broken with the axe that drops non-block objects.

@polonerdi you could try regular pistons, but i think the spiders may just get stuck in the reg. pistons since their somewhat of a transparent block.

you cant put redstone in a health potion because health potions have no lasting effects like a speed potion, you simply drink it and gain health, and the glowstone adds more health when you drink it

I had this built in normel 1.1 when i tried to load the snapshot the spiders would climb the walls around the spawner and glitch out anyone know why?

@monkeyfarm I actually counted you did 14 repeaters. I did 13 repeaters on the 3 tick delay, then the 14th repeater I used on a 2 tick. Works amazing. (At least on the SMP server I play on that has some piston lag, so who knows how accurate that is :P)

I don't understand the F3 Entity number as there are 2 numbers like 5/292 - both numbers change. Is the first number the hostile mobs and the second one the peacefuls?
