  • Funky, Funky, Funky! Now I know where LL Cool J got "To The Break of Dawn." Big Daddy Kane sampled this for "Float On." I wished rappers today would sample stuff like this.

  • James Brown reportedly payed various DJ.s to not play single releases from the Maeo and All the Kings Men first LP. The James Brown tune Mind Power(Payback LP) was based upon maceo's Funky Women song.
