A huge favour would you ever do a tutorial for over 50 set. I am in my 50s and clueless- even though I used to be a fashion model in London in the late 70s but that was other people applying MY makeup. I would love to have some basic tips. Maybe to see you doing them on a mum figure. I love all your stuff and you are amazingly beautiful and lovely and your family must be so proud of you. But she kinda is, because she was on Eastenders for sooo..... long. I dont get this, why is this so important? Is there not more important things going on other than make up and fame? Normal this and abnormal that...Amusing to say the least.
Why do so many feel so insecure about their looks that they feel the need to change their natural given looks? Surely its the person inside that counts and not whats on the outside?
She's just a normal average person who helps people in the help they need. Some people might feel insecure enough to watch her videos, evem if you dont.
What is normal to you? How do you define 'normal' ?
Using make up does not rid of that insecurity it simply hides it and in the long run its more harmful to the persons psyche.
You missed my main point though, surely its the person inside that counts and not whats on the outside? With so much violence and suffering in the world we get caught in trivial little things like how we look instead of addressing the many problems we as humans are facing, its really sad.
She just seems like an average down to earth person, yes i understand its more important whats on the inside, but if it makes someone feel better about themself to wear make-up, what's the harm?
i don't use makeup to hide insecurities. i use makeup because i like the way it looks, on me, on other people. i like using bright colours and i love playing around with looks. its like an art form to some people. but i happily go out day to day with only a little mascara on.
I love Lauren, she is so down to earth and seems like a great person to hang out with and talk to... I hope she goes far in the world and proves the haters wrong. they are just jealous that lauren is stepping out in the world and making a name for herself. Lauren proves to the world that no one person is perfect, she is just normal like us...
There is always that 1 person who feels better about themselves if the trash other people - so screw them.. when you get those comments don't feel about yourself, feel bad for them, that they are so insecure they have to make fun of people to feel better about themselves!

Yes everyone is entitle to an opinion but instead of dragging the arguements why don't we just click either on the thumbs up or thumbs down. I mean its there for the purpose. By challenging this negative voices we kind of letting them on and there will be no ending.

Personally, if someone IS good at what they do, I couldn't give a damn what they looked like, or what clothes they like to wear.Who the hell is anyone to judge? You are your OWN person and no one has the right to say whether someone needs a make over or not, or whether they cant "be bothered with their own appearance". if you don't care about how you look why make any effort at all. If you dont think looks matter then why make tutorials on how to apply makeup you might aswell do it with a bag on your head lol.
Its just my opinion and i like how she does makeup and think she is stunning. I'm not skinny or saying thats how you should be but thera are so many people walking around in tracksuits and baggy stuff. In my own opinion it looks tatty and not like you care about yourself.

I loved the BBC3 doc. but I was really really worried that we didn't see a lawyer advising you on signing any type of contract. The expense will be worth it. Re make up - I'm way older than your Mum and I'd like you to find us mature ladies a really good Foundation for wrinkles.. without powder that make em look worse!

But she kinda is, because she was on Eastenders for sooo..... long. Using make up does not rid of that insecurity it simply hides it and in the long run its more harmful to the persons psyche.
You missed my main point though, surely its the person inside that counts and not whats on the outside? With so much violence and suffering in the world we get caught in trivial little things like how we look instead of addressing the many problems we as humans are facing, its really sad.

i don't use makeup to hide insecurities. i use makeup because i like the way it looks, on me, on other people. i like using bright colours and i love playing around with looks. its like an art form to some people. but i happily go out day to day with only a little mascara on.
not everyone has to be insecure to use makeup...
