  • hey dude how to do this kind of thing

  • i loved the bit when you put your finger on the button and pressed it.

now i know how to do that.

    ive been searching everywhereeee..

  • I placed it on the settings and I can't still get that kind of speed your getting. Is it really because of the memory card?

  • That was very informational stuff dude!!!

Now I know how to push the button my

    D60.

Whats next? I think we are ready to move onto removing and putting the lense cap back on.

  • @harleezangel

    HEHEHE!!!!

  • what tips?? he just pressed a button....

  • tip is simple...to hear the shooting sound, just press that button!!!

  • aww you just spend all your film on these shots :/ haha jk theres no film

  • What a joke lol

  • Thnxs really helpfull thinking of buying one

  • what kind of memory card do you have?

    i have a SanDisk

  • Thank you so much this really help me alot. ! ;)

  • i hav this cam but i can only take the maximum frames per second for 4 pics, then it slows down to 1 pic every 3 secs... ne1 have ne ideas

  • It helps alot if u make sure that active d-lighting is off, also make sure that Review pictures is off, and set the picture quality lower... Or possibly buying a really fast SD card;)

  • reply to facialhairy!"

  • that did it... thx dude

  • what did u do incase to increase the increase the shutter speed ?,cuz i have the same problem!

  • i turned off the active d lighting and the review photos function... so u dont see the pics after u take em autmatically. u can probably leave the quality as it is... i didnt hav the need to do that

  • just turn off the active d-lighting and the photo review function. and make sure u have a memory card that is made for fast photo taking

  • doesnt make sense

  • Damn thats really slow! great camera though

  • I have this camera nikon d60, there's no informations about its shutter cycle life at nikon's web site also on the web. Anyone have idea about that?

    Thanks

  • Someone should make a video response using a casio ex-f1.

    LOL

  • reading all these comment's makes everyone seem like a noob.

    lol.

  • that's not "shutter speed" but "burst speed".

shutter speed is how long shutter stays open.

  • so true

  • You have to set your shooting to continuous. it also might be your memory card. Picture settings, whether it's on RAW or JPEG. It's a lot of different little things.

  • how do u do that? like wat are the settings for that???

  • wow you suck

  • go to menu> custom settings menu...and change your "release mode" setting to continuous. then hold down the shutter button. =D

    btw you still suck :P

  • well its been about a month since i've had the camera and i figured it out that day soo idk why ur saying wat to do wen i nvr asked you for it if u knew how to read the comment says 1 MONTH ago not minute

  • LOL wangstafro is need anger management.

And so do most Youtube commenters.

  • so true

  • Bad shutter noise... I wonder why

  • its on a table...

  • No sh*t... I can see it's on a table. But it still makes a strange shutter sound, quite different from d70/d80 and d200/d300

  • it's a D60 thats why. You can't compare this to a D300. or a D80. Those are prosumer professional level cameras.

This is a entry level camera. All Nikons' aren't going to have the same shutter sound smart one.

  • What the hell should a "prosumer professional level camera" be!?!?! LOL!!!!

A reflex is not a prosumer camera, and a prosumer camera is not a professional level camera. Just shut the hell up "smart one"

  • so if i have the card inside the camera i cant take alot of sequence just 4..and if i havent i cant shoot ..

    do u know why?

just i want take a lot of sequence with the card inside..

  • turn off d light! that the reason

  • how is it possible? my nikon doing only 3 shots than thinking 3 seconds and doing 1 shot than stoping!

  • Mine does the Same!!! i dont get it.

  • its prob the mem card. its supposed to take up to a 100 on buffer and then store them. go to def settings. maybe you changed something. it can only take 3 per sec but keep going. anyway it sounds funny cause its on a table. the higher end cameras like the d300 sound diff because of the method they use to spin the mirrors. more of a sci fi sound. i have the d60 n love it. next one is def another nikon.

  • its ok.. i know why mine does only 2 shots then stops. its because i have Noise Reduction and/or Active D ON. that's why.. with both OFF it will be continuous.

  • just turn off the active d-lighting and the photo review function. and make sure u have a memory card that is made for fast photo taking

  • wow ,tnxx ,that did it =)

  • no probs dude... spread the gd stuff

  • wow!

    Thanks so much!

I do event photography and I'm an amateur so I use the D60 and a SB-600 and the photos come out great. But I can get even more shots with your tips man! Thanks again!!! I feel like a pro lol

  • @fotogroove its because your d-lighting is on

  • how are you able too take that many pic constantaly?

  • I would guess that he has taken out the memory card. D60 doesn't have a very big buffer. It can take about 4 pics in a row, and then it has to load them. But if you take out the memory card, the camera doesn't have to save the pics, and therefore you can take more pics in a row.
