Did anyone notice how after the destruction, the earth started over again and then it leads to when desmond and everyone are driving in the van? I think the cinematic suggests that there was once an advanced civilization before ours, and the solar storm destroyed so completely that we today are unable to find any proof of it. "Those who came before" something like that themselves, didn't they?

AC3 Will be out towards the end of "THIS" year ... Designers , Script Writers etc have went on record saying That AC3 has been in development for 3 years straight ... Which could be the leading factor of why Brotherhood & Revelations ended so quickly or the story-line seemed IFFY and short for a finale..They must have been putting all their hard thoughts and idea's into this MEGA monster of a game that's going to be out this year...No other adventure franchise game has touched this since M.G.S

Therefore, the story of Cain and Able. Cain leaves, or Adam and eve do off with him somehow, and hide the apple. cain spends his life trying to find it. Correct me if im wrong, but Cain marries someone in the bible? sorry im too lazy to look it up right now. However, that girl is the mother in this video. Their baby is the direct descendant of Desmond, and the reason subect 16 died is because he went back too far. Sorry long hypothesis, but anyone agree?

It's assumed that somehow he managed to create a family - either after marrying a girl specially created for him by God, or by having one of his sisters as a wife.

...And I know it because I chose Biblical Studies for my life's profession :P It's interesting, though...

@bnechmaimboy2 No, for one thing, that destruction scene took place in the past, so it's impossible for the baby to be a descendant of Desmond. Did you mean ancestor? And second, 16 died because his genetic memories got mixed up and he went into a coma like Desmond did, however he wasn't able to reassemble the fragments in time to get back into his body. He sacrificed himself to prevent Desmond's memories from being deleted, but I'm not even sure he's dead.

In the truth archive, Adam and Eve steal the apple and become the first free thinking humans, using the apple's power to percieve knowledge that was forbidden, thus being expelled from the garden of Eden by "God". Subject 16, being a descent of adam or eve, was also privy to this knowledge, and it drove him insane.

In ac2 the truth, able and is running with the apple with his parents adam and eve, and caine is chasing after them. Remember the glyph from AC2, "Beware, the wrath of Cain!"? In that glyph, all of the pictures are of him trying to get theapple and doing whatever necessary, violence, everything. At the end of ac2 the truth, we hear desmonds voice say "Eve!"... (in my hypothesis) right before he is killed by Cain.

Okay, now this is a longshot, but its my theory. So, subject 16 lived the memories of his ancestor,able. able and caine are the sons of adam and eve. In the ac2 truth, when adam and eve are running, Able is behind them, because it is HIS memory. Eve is a god. Cesare Borgia is a descendant of humans, which is why he looks like Adam in the truth form Ac2. All of the assassins are descendants of the hybrid god-human relationship of adam and eve, which is why they have eagle vision.

The way Assassin's Creed works, is that if you introduce a new protagonist (main hero/good character, in this case, the playable Assassin) you have to change the number of the title. So, Brotherhood and Revelations would be Assassin's Creed 2, Part 2, Brotherhood.

@HillariousMassiveJoy There are 4 main ones, actually. Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed Revelations. As the other person said, each numbered game has a new assassin. Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations are part of the Ezio trilogy, though Revelations also focuses some on Altair's backstory and life. Revelations was meant to bring closure to those two assassins, and Assassin's Creed III will likely have a new assassin.

First was Altair ibn-La'Ahad, in AC 2 was Ezio Audtirore da Firenze and in AC who knows who will be, but looking forward to find out!

@JJHarry1 @blindsenses1 is correct. And there are other AC games for PSP and DS. I dunno about DS but I knoe about PSP, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines' story and AC's story are connected. Bloodlines comes first before AC (talk about the storyline, not year the Ubsioft company makes)

Real science in motion. Solar flares can (and will) destroy atmosphere. So the solar flare destroyed the ozone, atmosphere, stratosphere etc (which caused an aurora, since the atmosphere is created by Earth's magnetic centre) and without protection, Earth would have burned. The same thing happened to Mars a long way back.
