It's because he is siamese. My cat does this every morning. They are quite chatty.

It's a connection thing. My siamese will ask for attention, pats, food - all with different meows. I think this meow is for general attention - get down and pat him! - or just to connect with you. My cat will come in from outside and call to us/talk to us until he is convinced we are all there, everything is good, and then he leaves again. And sometimes he just sits around in the room with us and talks - he just likes to talk :D.

yep. I have a siamese cat and he's pretty chatty as well. All siamese cats are like that. BE CAUTIOUS when he gets older (4-6 months of age) and his meows get deeper and more frequent, it means he's in heat and you need to get him neutered. If you don't he might develop habits of pissing everywhere to mark his territory.

That breed is extremely noisy, and as u can tell, Max is no exception! In this case he was probably asking for food, luvs, toys, or if he's an outdoor kitty, maybe asking to go outside.
